My L4060 on its way to get its first loader installed. On the only trailer I have - a 16' I bought from an elderly friend. I think her husband built it. I made it the 8 miles to my Kubota dealer, but I took it slow.
Maybe next year I can afford a better one after I pay for the loader.

I didn't get a pic but had to do tractor gymnastics (B737 can attest to it) to get the box blade, tractor with loader and rake on all at one shot. I wish I could've had a 22 footer in 10K GVWR.

For the next iteration, that sht may just get dropped in the dump bed. ;)

warning: to anyone considering an EA extreme duty landscape rake with gauge wheels...make sure you have a freakin' long trailer.

One day I see myself getting an L4060... but I'd have to get a bigger property to warrant that size of unit! Great looking unit!

THAT is a very scary looking LIGHT capacity home built trailer!
And......now you are adding (800 lbs.?) with the weight of a loader as well!
Sure hope you have insurance, that you KNOW will cover your overloaded trailer, and contents.
I suspect that an insurance company might deny a claim, and a judge might find you guilty of culpable negligence as well, if an accident!

3-4 times a years I load up and make a 20 miles round trip to 3 different properties.

Let the critiquing begin.

Example of fitting 10 pounds of stuff into a 5 lb bag. This was the delivery. Guy driving the truck said it was a handful and that was a F350.

Picked up this 16’ flatbed a week ago. Spent the week tearing it down and building it back up. Finished it over the weekend. All new wiring and lights, had to wire the brakes which are good, and re-decked and painted. For the price I got it for and money spent on it, I can comfortably deal with the slight overhang on the brush hog

While it is nice and "new" place an ad for it and upgrade to a trailer that is a little longer. I am sure you would make money on the redo. Nice work.

I would make plenty of money off of it. Flipping trailers is the side hustle to my side business. But I don’t see the absolute need. DOT gives you 3’, and the tractor and brush hog is the absolute longest I’ll be. It’s 1.5-2’ off the back. Currently, I will haul nothing else on the trailer if brush hogging.

And thank you…

Wow! Great job on getting it all fixed up. That's quite the before and after. (y)

If you tilt the bucket down, so the cutting edge is vertical, you can gain at least another foot.
Then, just chain the bucket down.

Return trip from its 50 hour service. In looking at the photo, I could have positioned the tractor a little farther back. I would typically have some form of a mower behind the unit to put some weight behind the axles. The tractor's light and the truck / trailer capable, so it drove and handled fine.
