like this? ;)

Damn near lol. only im going to make it so the holder is locked to the trailer, and then a steel bar will hold the can on.

My quick trailer lock is simple.. i keep 2 wrenches in my crossover bin and remove the coupler from the trailer and then lock that in the garage. i live in a pretty safe area so im not overly worried. its safe enough that i will txt my retired neighbor if someone is heading over to borrow something and im not home.

like this? ;)

After filling two diesel cans last weekend for $56, I believe you need a chain and padlock I'm afraid. Or, a cable lock at least. ;)

I'm cheap, my can goes in the truck bed under the lockable cover along with anything else that could be 'taken without permission'.

Cleaning up my photo album and figured I would post these tractor/trailer pictures.

1st. A friend came up from MO to deer hunt and we worked out a swap/trade deal for my 4 foot King Kutter rotary mower. I ended up with his Land Pride 6ft cutter. He brought up a side x side so had the trailer. I needed to get my B7100 back to my house to set up for snow removal duties so it worked out well.

2nd. My trailer with the B7100 and King Kutter ready to head down to my land. It is a 14 foot landscape type trailer with #3000 lb gross. The tractor with cutter pulls great but is at the upper limits of the weight rating.

3rd. A friend trailered my L2501 back to my house so I could do the 50 hour service and make some changes to my seat lift. His rig was overkill for the L2501. He has a land habitat business and hauls a heavy tracked skid steer with a forestry mulching head.

4th. Not a tractor on trailer picture but a picture of the used LP rotary cutter I traded to my deer hunting friend.

This is what I have. Just purchased. 18' (16' +2') 9990 GVW. Unladen weight of 1450 lbs. Did have the BX on the trailer but had removed it before snapping pictures. Amble room and pulls great. I know it is overkill for my BX however should I decide to purchase a larger tractor, I am sure to be covered. I can haul close to 8,500 lbs. if needed. I went with aluminum to save weight and rusting. The ONLY downside I have found out so far is that I have to wear sunglasses on sunny days. Added pictures with tractor on trailer. Need to find a nice aluminum storage box for my tie downs, etc...

Loaded the tractor on my new trailer for the first time today. I spent a lot of time on here lurking and seeing what other members were doing and chatting with a few before I made the purchase.

we are at $2/L for diesel, so my cans will be locked to the trailer. 2 x 18L cans (i dont put in 20L because 18 is perfect when the fuel light comes on, i just toss the nozzle in and hold the can). it was $64 cdn

I used to think 20 feet was a long trailer. It will just barely be enough for my rotary cutter.
Its not. ^
I got away with 20 feet with BX, B2601 and partly for LX. I just ordered a 22' to fit everything. 20' for the LX, 2 attachments on the front, and the rake is hanging off by at least 8". I do some trickery to get it to fit right now, but I'm eager for the 22'er to arrive.

with the BX, i can just fit the BB OR tiller on, with the bucket and grapple, i drop the bucket then put he grapple on and then open it over the bucket then strap it all down. once i steal that for storage idea i will be able to put even more on my trailer lol

You can buy an oversize permit for the state of FL so you can move the tractor often without any worries. You can buy the oversized signs and red flags at a truck stop, Then you could travel without any problems.

I might have to do some trickery picking up my BB next week and squeezing it on my 14' w... just when I thought I had the perfect trailer eh!

nothing wrong with having your loader over the front rail, or over top of the BB. not sure of your rules, but up here items can stick off the back of a trailer, they just need to be flagged. you wouldnt have much of your BB sticking off the back.

Looks like you did OK as long was your trailer's GVW's are sufficient for your tractor.
