That would shoot through several pigs. (y)

Even my 458 SOCOM will do that. I load up a 540 gr. hardcast bullet for it.

They will shoot through as many pigs as you can get 'lined up'. I've never recovered one of these bullets. I don't know where they stop! I guess when they hit magma.

I would love to load those 540's up to 1950 fps and hit snout.

For a bit here in the Keystone, as I understand it, a hunting preserve had some fencing come down, and a bunch of hogs got out. The PaGC had a kill on site order issued, I dont know if any one ever killed one or not

A lot of the guys in TX use ARs with suppressors, and night vision and/or infrared. Is any of that legal in Canada? I hope so, you guys are going to need it.
Tannerite under a bait pile also. You get several with one round.
We consider wild hogs as a pest, no season & almost no rules on how. I think the legislature even made it no hunting license reqd.
The damage done to pastures & crops is unbelievable.

They are an absolute scourge. Texas

Correct. No hunting license required (on private land) for residents or non-residents, with Land Owner Permission/or Agent. Texas

The damage done to pastures & crops is unbelievable.
Conservatively estimated at over 500 Million Dollars Annually in Texas.

Pigs are smart. I wonder if they could be trained to patrol the border down there. I know, I know, I’m a wise guy.

Haha, I know some Tx valley farmers, they want the Rio grande dredged out deeper for agricultural resources, water reserves. And then my friends in Louisiana want to relocate the abundance of alligators to the Rio Grande.

I think that would be an excellent 'start'. Make the 'Rio' like a giant Moat filled with gators.

Then instead of having 83,000 new IRS agents, we put 83,000 Border Patrol Agents down there, with half of those being K9 handlers (with Dobermans).

Lastly....we electrify the 'wall' Not a 'lethal'amount of voltage....but plenty to make you not want to 'try' it again.

And then we need Buses, LOTS of Buses and Bus drivers. Running 24/7 deporting the MILLIONS of people here that do NOT qualify for Asylum. I'll pay for a bus myself.

Just outa curiosity question to all readers ??? is the tannerite and pigs legal in your state. I’m pretty sure it would never be allowed in Canada. I’m again not saying it doesn’t happen just curious.
Don't ask, don't tell.

I saw Homestead Rescue last night, they were in NE Texas, built a spiral hog trap. Simple, cheap, effective way to get free bacon and ham ! There has to be a market for free range pig meat ???

From what I understand, it's not good eating. Can't speak from experience though.
Need to send some Texans up to the border. They know how to deal with em. I won't post the video, but look up "Hog Hunting with a M134" and enjoy the BRRRRT!

There is....but it is in Europe and Asia.

The 'regulations' here *U.S* are strict and complicated...in order to market Feral Hog meat/products. It just isn't worth it (commercially).

So most is shipped overseas where it is simply marketed as 'Wild Boar' regardless the gender of the animal.

For those that give a rats arse...... wrt taste on wild boars the issue is boar taint which may or may not be a problem.

Sows / gilts: females are not a problem. Tasty!
Barrows: young male pigs before maturity not a problem. Tasty.

Boars on the other hand (intact non castrated males that have their testicles) and have reached maturity (raging male hormones) can be a problem. About 1/4 mature males (boars) have boar taint. They can can stink when being cooked, taste "off" no matter how we cook them, etc... You will sure know quickly if your meat has this boar taint!!

So when we have an intact male under our knife we do a quick and easy field test to test for this boar taint. We heat the blade of the knife really really hot and drop a piece of meat on the hot steel. the meat will immediately gas/steam/fry off and we simply smell the steam. If it stinks the meat is tainted and will never be good to eat or process. No smell? then all good to go! you can smell boar taint / you can't miss it.
