I believe the " super pig " has been in the south for many years. A long time ago was reading about how Russian Boars were imported to hunting clubs in Alabama or Georgia and eventually some escaped to the wild , cross breeding the local wild hogs that in the South feral hogs go back to the Spanish explorers that allways left pigs so the eventual settlers would have a food supply.
