Well the day finally arrived. My new M7060 was delivered this morning. It has the LA1154 loader, standard bucket, 3rd function valve and canopy. All I can say about it is, wow! Compared to the Ford 4630 that I traded in it's like a Cadillac.
I removed the bucket and hooked up the 6' Bush Hog for a quick few laps to see how it rode when mowing in the pasture... sweet. The adjustable suspension seat with arm rests and reclining back sure made for a lot nicer ride. Shifting the synchronized 4 speed on the move without the gears grinding and shuttling between F and R was also great.
One thing I don't like is the little pins that lock in the telescoping sway bars. You can't see the little holes in the pins to stick the little hairpins through. They also don't have a little keeper chain on the pins so they don't get lost.
Another hiccup was that the shop installed a fiberglass canopy instead of an aluminum one. Shouldn't be a problem with them swapping it out.
I didn't have but a little while to mess with it this morning but my first impressions were very good.
