Move to lowest hole on tractor AND move top bolt on auger frame as far towards business end of auger - even if you have to lift auger (minus flights) by hand.

No our M7060 never had an issue. We have a rotary cutter RCF1574 I think. No auger yet. I am curious though!
I would be curious if your max/min height is same as mine as shown below with no attachment 26 max - 8 min

Tha cylinders move the vertical lift rods which are attached to the lift arms. Move the bottom of the lift rods (#1) to the furthest out hole in the lift arms. Than release the lever on the end of the lift arms (#2) and slide the end of the lift arm out to its max extended position.

It's interesting that Kubota doesn't list maximum 3-point lift height in the specs.

Never had problems with down force, clearance or geometry - I guess we knew how to use an auger. So I think it's a reasonable expectation that a tractor can use an auger as it is designed and to think a 3 point hitch could go high enough for an auger to clear the ground.
With no downforce on the auger you're relying on the cutting edge to bite and draw the auger down. There are many soil types that make 3-point augers next to useless but you clearly don't have that issue.

Rotary cutters made to attach to a 3 point hitch are meant to be lifted.
There are more than a few here that rarely if ever lift the cutter off the deck. When moving from A to B they let it ride on the tail wheels(s). As I said, I lift mine when getting on/off the trailer, but try to keep it on the deck as much as possible. It's a lot of weight out back to be running/bouncing around with.

it's and has been in the furtherest out hole and the extension to aid hooking up only has one "locked" position at it's shortest configuration

Maybe a stupid suggestion but are you able to unbolt the hoop from the top link bracket that supports the gearbox, raise the top link to get clearance, rotate the hoop and use another bolt hole for the hoop?

From this pick you have the top auger link in the wrong hole.

1. Move it to the lowest one on the tractor. (There are 3 holes shown). If you need to detach the lower links temporarily to do this go ahead. If you need to remove the auger motor (and you can) to lighten it up go ahead. You can see if this gives you the clearance. If not do #2 below as well.

2. Your Auger has 6 holes for adjustments on the boom arm, you are currently in the middle hole. You can gain more angle by moving it to the hole closest to the tractor.

3. Now adjust your bottom links to merry with the lower auger pins. The only limitation here would be if they wont shorten enough after doing #1 and #2. However hopefully they will.

I dont have the machine close to me or I would do the measurements for you. It has a Quick Hitch and a PTOlink on it right now anyway, so the screenshots would not help much.

Retried it all and the middle hole actually has it the highest point as past vertical support angle change causes it to lower ... Gained a bit but still way off.

that said I noticed that from the lowest level I have to raise the control lever past about 1/3 to get the arms to move at all ... I am starting to think the control lever linkage needs to get shortened as I am not getting a full throw on the lever. In other words I am only getting about 2/3 of movement and there is some left but the lever has no more room to move ... It's 8 inches off the deck at lowest lever point AND at the 1/3 point. Anyway that's my working theory at this time but since it's only 3 days old I will talk to my dealer before I start adjusting it ... appreciate you helping me think through it all.

My 3PH lower arms don’t move until around setting 3-4 on the lever. I don’t know if that’s the case without anything attached though. I too have a QH so not sure I can help with measurements.

Good thread!

Forgive my ignorance - but by Feedback linkage, is that the adjustable side links or something else?

I have shortened the adjustable side links to their shortest settings

With nothing attached, the movement is only about 17 inches measured at the ball connector on the lift arm
Thanks for you help
Don't at this moment concern yourself with location of feedback linkage but concern yourself with

"" when nothing is attached to 3 pt hitch & 3 pt control lever in full rear location (full raise) can 3 pt draft arms be raised by hand or has rockshaft been rotated to it's upper limit""

I agree with jchonline that the location of 3 pt needs to be relocated to frt mounting hole on the PHD boom

I mean this with no pun intended, but are you sure you are in the right hole? I am not sure what make/mode you have but maybe those holes on the main beam there are not aligned properly for the height you are trying to achieve. I’m the pic above this post maybe try the furthest hole out and see if that lifts the boom…it should be the most exaggerated and the. Bring back to suit. But it’s hard to say from the picture provided. Good luck and be careful. Augers on the back are fairly dangerous to hook up.

Hole on boom furthest from tractor will lower maximum boom lift height not increase lift height.

Read what's stated in a PHD digger operators manual. Although operators manual is for a different brand PHD the geometry of 3 pt is the same. Also according to operators manual lower centerlink attaching hole on tractor will raise auger higher.

After reading this discussion, I moved my toplink from the upper hole on the tractor to the middle hole. This resulted in several inches of increased lift. I haven’t tried the lower hole yet.

Hello All ... Closing the loop on this thread.

Spoke with my dealer and there is an adjustment (see pic below) that sets the upper limit. You can go as high as where The lift arm would hit the bottom of the hydraulic cylinder - you want 3/4 of an inch for play.

By shortening the linkage it allows more movement so it goes higher. I still have a little more room if I decide I need it.

Simple adjustment, now that we know what it is ...

To all the comments and questions, thanks for that, it helped me think through it all and narrow down the possible solution and eliminate the simple but not so obvious items.

To the person that said that my expectations were out of synch with reality and I should just buy a different post hole auger - bless your heart and thanks for playing.
