re: Ipad typos... disable the 'autospell' word or whatever APPLE calls their AI's poor attempt to think what you're trying to type. That will get rid of the 'interesting' words that 'magically' appear in your posts. That 'feature' is almost as bad as the 'horizontal' pictures I see people post in forsale ads.....
As for the wiring. It sounds like you have a HUGE mess to deal with, but easy to deal with. I'd have simply removed the emulator by following each of the 11 wires to where it was spliced into the harness. Cut it off there, confirm the original wire is still good, then couple wraps of black tape to protect the spot. This should get the tractor back to factory original and then you can trace and locate why power isn't getting to starter, fuel pump etc.
If you can enlarge and printout the wiring diagram so it's EASY to read and follow wires. Use a 'highlighter' to mark that a wire has been checked,so you don't wonder 'did I do this one yet ?'
You also need to check for 'rodent repairs'... IE: mice getting in and chewing at the wiring !! Little vermin are masters at chewing here, there, everywhere.....
Also carefully remove wires from a 'bundle', split them apart and inspect. 2 or more could have shorted together. That you can't see through the bundling black tape.
I wouldn't try to start it until the electrical issue are solved. Just ONE misconnected wire could do very bad damage.
