re: Ipad typos... disable the 'autospell' word or whatever APPLE calls their AI's poor attempt to think what you're trying to type. That will get rid of the 'interesting' words that 'magically' appear in your posts. That 'feature' is almost as bad as the 'horizontal' pictures I see people post in forsale ads.....

As for the wiring. It sounds like you have a HUGE mess to deal with, but easy to deal with. I'd have simply removed the emulator by following each of the 11 wires to where it was spliced into the harness. Cut it off there, confirm the original wire is still good, then couple wraps of black tape to protect the spot. This should get the tractor back to factory original and then you can trace and locate why power isn't getting to starter, fuel pump etc.
If you can enlarge and printout the wiring diagram so it's EASY to read and follow wires. Use a 'highlighter' to mark that a wire has been checked,so you don't wonder 'did I do this one yet ?'
You also need to check for 'rodent repairs'... IE: mice getting in and chewing at the wiring !! Little vermin are masters at chewing here, there, everywhere.....
Also carefully remove wires from a 'bundle', split them apart and inspect. 2 or more could have shorted together. That you can't see through the bundling black tape.
I wouldn't try to start it until the electrical issue are solved. Just ONE misconnected wire could do very bad damage.

Wish I knew how to turn it off on my PC, especially in Outlook.

Tried multiple times but given up each time.

Folks i am thru defending myself. I will only respond to helpful comments on the tractor. With that being said the last thing done was to drain the fuel from the tank and filter. The displays works the fuel pump starter and glow plugs will orf if i bypass the relays if they are not bypassed the fuel pump the starter will not work can’t ttell if the glow plugs do or don’t with out it being by passed. Next steps is to reconnect the filter and fuel lines. If there are no more ideals on the next steps will remove the covering on the wiring and continue to look for problems. I replaced the fuse box with inline fuses the wires in the back were staffed and were most likely shorting at times. Thanks those who have tried to help
Good for you.

I would have stopped responding to such nonsense days ago.

Will you please describe where the very short wire was? Was that at the emulator?
I think you will have to get it to a dealer to get it running again. I imagine it is protecting itself in limp mode through the computer. There may be no way to get it to regenerate than the dealer software.

I know that you are not wanting to spend money on it but you could get a new wiring harness for the worst section . Else just take the wiring harness off and get it onto a comfortable workbench for your back and follow the advice above.

'should' be in 'options' or 'preferences',.....somewhere.
I don't use Outlook, prefer Mozilla Firefox...'spell check' located in tools>settings>general>languageandappearance>languages

I did buy a new tractor which is stated in the post before yours
Ya if you read my post instead of just skimming it or having your iPad read it you’ll see I’m aware of your new tractor. I think your just trolling at this point.
I love when people are looking for help but don’t really want to hear the answer

You say you’ll only reply to people trying to help with the tractor but many have asked for additional info and all you keep doing is going on about who installed the emulator. Sever posts about giving more pics but we haven’t seen any. Nobody can tell ya what’s up with the info you are providing. At this point, I don’t think anybody cares on this forum who installed the emulator in your tractor. The fact of the matter is you have one installed. Let’s get over the question about who installed it. Other members didn’t just come up with the shared info out of thin air including the wiring, schematics, electrical layouts, emissions system etc. etc. they did a bit of research and looked into what you’re claiming and could not find anything about this emulator.
I’d post some more pictures or info about the tractor to help others see what your talking about if you truly want the help or you could sell it to wolfman for cheap cheap so we can see him fix it and run it old school with no computers. We could start a go fund for it and all contribute lol

TJ, why not post pictures and evidence of what you would submit if you were participating the the class action suit? This would give folks a basis for helping you.

greensvillejay is what I’d do also over spending 2400 for a new harness if I was tight for cash. See what happens. If it still ain’t happy buy that emulator you posted about earlier and wire it in.

If you have truly been an electronics tech for 40yrs, why are you whining about a wiring harness at all?
Buy a few tiny spools of wire, warm up your soldering iron ,get out the heat shrink tubing and bypass this emulator you're certain was installed by Kubota before you bought it brand new.

Oh, and proofread your posts please. You come off as....well, I won't say.

Thank you can you tell me ho to turn off the auto type please on the tractor i have most of the wiring uncovered that is how i found the emulator box and yes i have had several issues with mice. I found a good mechanic to work on it guess i am just to old i will get out there and do some more tracing maybe i can find it i found a place on the back of the fuse box where the covering on the wires had shafted down to the metal replaced the fuse box with in line fuses. No telling what I will find next. Thank you for your help i have not totally given up yet. Thanks again.

re: The wiring harness is so full of wires that there is no way it was added afterward.
from a previous post....

Any ET worth his paycheck should be able to make the installation of the emulator look as IF it was from the factory. It's just eleven lousy wires not the ENTIRE harness.
Can't take more than 2 hours to install(10 minutes per wire....),OK 3hrs, cause I need 3 coffee breaks and the phone will ring and 2 people will show up with 'urgent' repairs for me to do.

I'd be very cautious about a 'mechanic' doing the rewire. Most I've known over the past 5 decades are GREAT at 'turning wrenches' NOT with 'electrons' !

Well i want to fix the darn thing. It was and is a lot of money when i bought it and still is. I went the other and got another tractor. It was causing me to loose sleep. I can work on other peoples stuff for ever but it gets to me pretty quick when it is mine. I was hoping someone here could help me. There have been a couple who have really tried. Thank you for not joining with the others and jump on me.

Several overall ,from different angles, the engine/wiring pictures as well as DPF sensor connections.
Something may show up in the 2nd picture of the 'same area', that wasn't obvious in the 1st picture.

I may have said this before...
Rewire to factory original according to the wiring diagram. Have someone else confirm this wire goes here and there, next, next, until 100% correct.
Then try to start ( obviously with a fully charge battery, new fuel, etc.)
if it doesn't maybe the ECU has 'locked you out' , or whatever it's called.

I have the reformer off tell me the photos you think will help. The emulator wiring is cut i have cut the wiring to the reformer and hooked up restores to those wires to work in place of the temp senors. I by passed the starter and glow plugs and ran a hot wire to the fuel pump. The starter and glow plug are back to like they were. I have tried ever thing i can think of. I can reinstall the reformer temp wires. The only i can not do is replace the emulator. Like you said there may be more damage to the harness. I have not seen the point in taking more pictures but i can. Replaced the battery cables for the negative post to the tractor and positive post all the way to the starter. Replaced the starter. Replaced the old relay to the starter when that did not help put the starter relay in the glow plug relay. Reran some of the ground wires to a known good ground. I figured it was worth paying some new eyes to see if they could see what i might have missed. I think you were right with going back to wiring one by one. Discounted all plugs including the ecu sprayed with contact cleaner at least that got rid of the 21 error on the dash that is what i have done this time around. I do not think i have forgotten anything.

Thanks I had the soldering and wire at the tractor. The bypassing the emulator temp sensors are not a issue i can do those. I think there is a pressure divide in the emulator. A ristorante might work there. Your comments most likely deserved. Never been much of a Tyler

May I be the D.A. here? I only have parts diagrams and NIW's WSM pages to go by, but what's to prevent one from taking all that $&#£ off and wiring/plumbing it like, say, a B2650?

It has a mechanical injector pump, I see a position sensor but that's an ECU input so shouldn't inhibit anything. Provide it with fuel, preheat and starter, why won't it run? Maybe the governor has some weird input? Surely that can be 'fixed'.

It's turbocharged. The only weird thing I see is a DOC. What's that? I don't see the ECU controlling the turbo, so what's the problem here?

I don't see any way OP will be able to get this thing back under Kubota's warranty and I sure wouldn't want to try to keep it running with the DPF/reformer on my own dime. I think I know what I'd do.
