Tom Jones, do you know if the DPF is still in place? If so, does it still have the guts in it? If so, I’m wondering if that filter is plugged since the tractor hasn’t gone into regen in many hours to clean the filter?

FWIW, just a wild guess on my part, but you’ve had this tractor to the dealer many times for emissions issues, including prior to Kubota extending the emission warrant to lifetime. My wild guess is the dealer got tired of doing warranty work on this tractor (prior to the extension) and mysteriously the emulator was installed in the hopes it would solve the problem and they wouldn’t have to keep doing warranty work on this tractor. Just my guess from what I’ve read. Sort seems like this might have been mentioned to you by Kubota at one time, IIRC in your posts, maybe it was one of the circa 2020 ones Wolfman reposted on your behalf.

Good luck with it.

This thread is kinda like watching an old John McEnroe tennis match....
Lots of back and forth with the occasional tantrum.
Yeah - but ol "you can't be serious" was RIGHT more times than not!

To the OP I tried calling early with no answer. If the reformer(DOC/SCR) is still present, very good chance it is not going to run without being removed, as the filter catalyst is going to be plugged out completely. You might try to make an exhaust leak between turbo and reformer. As ffor wiring it like a B2650, instead I would research a 37ish HP the is not Tier 4(earlier than 2003).

I wondered that too. But the dealer gets paid by Kubota to do warranty work. It may be annoying, but it's actually profitable. Installing the emulator wouldn't get paid for by Kubota. And I'd expect a dealer that did install it to know enough to know to remove the DPF equipment after installing the emulator, because otherwise it'd clog up and go bad.

Wild guesses one and all. I suspect no one ever know for sure. If the DPF has been removed, or it’s guts, it could suggest someone understood something of what they did.

I'd read between the lines. OP as spent way more than 10 minutes posting the problems in this forum, but a simple book allows him to solve everything as soon as he opened it !!!!!! ;)

Troll I figured
Obviously you didn’t do it with a wsm in ten min. You don’t even post what you claim is the fix for others who might read this and are looking for answers in the future.
i’m glad it’s not only the good people that end up with these nightmare tractors luckily for us people like you that deserve them also get them.
If you even own a kubota Glad you got it up and running again(BS) and thanks for helping nobody but yourself for 9 pages now. I think most of us still had fun and got our answer about you.

I need to go down to Tulsa one of these days. If I was sure he was really from Ralston, OK I'd stop in and see his tractor. Shouldn't be too hard to find with only 400 population. ;) ;) ;)

Too all that wondered if the DPF filter was clogged or removed I think you all missed this.

I have the reformer off
I'm thinking his new "factory" emulator showed up in the mail.

You know I wondered about the gender of my tractors!

Reading your post, I realized what I was missing! Well, actually, what they were missing! I have one of my own!

So I now know, they both must be females!

Thanks to the OP for this thread! And to OnTheRidge for answering the question in my mind!😂
