I know they're not grapple but it's gonna make a big difference moving brush piles instead of doing it by hand! I heard some say you can actually move more brush with the forks because you can squash them down and then pick up large pile to move it. Granted I won't be able to pick up little stuff like a grapple can but that's ok. Still gonna be a huge back saver. Being able to cut down trees and pick them up just enough to cut the tree in sections without getting the saw pinched will be nice!!!Wow! Those photos really put your amazing deal into perspective. Since you mention being new to tractors, keep the loader as low to the ground as possible when empty or full. The height changes the center of gravity quickly and can cause a roll over quickly. When the machine is parked have the loader on the ground, always. Have fun, be safe!
Wow, that price for machine, loader, and implements/accessories and with those low hours…just an incredible find….thats a great unicorn IMO.
Appreciate it! That's the plan. I'm just going to take my time with it. I'll be practicing with it in my drive way on a flat level surface to get the hang of it. The forks will be fun, I'm gonna get some pallets and just move them around to practice. I been around them for a while just never really operated them myself. I been watching hours and hours of videos trying to get this stuff drilled in my head so when I go use it, I'll have some peace of mind.
Once I can get my hands on an L2502 for 2-4 weeks and time on the shop schedule, we’ll have a Turbo kit for it. It’s just a matter of time.

When you pull into the garage be sure your ROPS doesn't tear the trim off !!!!
If Kubota's measurements are accurate, there should be a few inches of clearance haha. I'll definitely be careful. My garage doors are 9 feet high. Ceiling is 13 feet roughly so I should be able to lift the loader max height for servicing the fluids/filters. I do know when I check hydraulic fluid I need to relax all the hydraulics to get an accurate reading. The sight glass if I remember right the fluid should be in the middle of the window. I'm gonna make my own safety block thing to put on the cylinder so it can't drop on me when working on the tractor. Probably a smart thing!

You should be able to see oil in the sight glass to be within spec according the owner's manaul, but I like to keep the transmission oil at the high mark of the range i.e. top of sight glass on level ground. I took this photo of the MX6000 ROPS when it was brand new and so this is what I look for and try to maintain. I don't know what the difference between high and low in the sight glass is but that would be useful information to have. I should pay better attention when topping the fluid off next time.
I'm going to assume the transmission and the hydraulics use the same oil. I mean it's hydrostatic I guess. But they must be share the oil?

Yes ... same oil. My M6060 only uses one oil for transmission and hydraulics and it's a gear drive with a dipstick rather than a sight glass.

Congrats! You remind me of my first time getting my Kubota L48, It is a nice used one. I just moved here and the buddy really comforts me.. maybe a little weird to say but stay in the operating room I feel secure. I always love the red and orange appearance, bright up the winter here

I have to admit, it's a nice view. My first time siting on it today. Did another quick once over today, the loader definitely needs to be greased. Hopefully it will be ok to use it to load into the trailer.
I am bothered by the hydraulic level. I looked at the sight glass which I find annoying. It's just bright white which tells me she must be empty. That is really worrying me. I mean should I buy a gallon of UDT-2 to make sure there's oil in there?
Just a bit worried.

It’ll be fine. Just grease the loader fittings when you get home and it’s really difficult to see the hydraulic level through the site glass in certain lighting conditions. It’s probably okay. Take another peak when you get ready to take it home.

Get some hyd dye at the JD dealer. Add to the hyd oil to easily see the oil. Cost about $16. Your oil level may be fine, just to the very full mark and you can't see it.
