Warning!!! If you have kids, DO NOT let them store stuff. Like skeets said, it mixes with your stuff and breeds more stuff.

I keep hauling stuff out, to where I can move around and get to stuff, and then the next time I go out there, I can't move around again.

Although  one of the kids just bought a house a couple miles down the road. Time to unload my garage and fill theres up :D:D:D

In the good ole USA there's an enterprise that generates good income without much heartache, as rentals go.

Storage units. And you guys just described why!

Don't build a shed for yourself, build one for others and have a rental income.

Cat Im guessing you don't have kids and grand kids. Trust me they aint paying to store anything if they can ask Mom or Grandma,,, Oh can we put this that or the other thing in the pole building for a while. Which turns into forever, and is forgotten about until you pitch it, then they wanted it yesterday ,,wahhhhh. It is none the less a loosing battle for me and every other guy that has a garage pole building or space that he wants for his own!!!

My shop was 48' deep x 24' wide, and I just added a 24'x24' carport to the front, which keeps the weather off the man door and garage door, plus I can keep two trucks under the cover out of a lot of the weather. now its 72' long, which helps a whole lot. a winter project is building out a 24' x 12' room in the back for a super insulated workshop/reloading room. there's still room inside for my Kubota, 72 Bronco, couple quads, and way too much junk. I will probably add a lean to sometime, as you can NEVER have enough room!

What Skeets said.

I have a 26 x 36 which has become way to small. Been wanting to add a 12 x 36 lean-to/shed roof on one side but I don't think that will be enough. :(
Been thinking that when I do build it, I will wrap it around the back and add 12 x 26 there also.:D

The plan is add a 48' long lean to, 12' wide, it will still be 8 1/2' at the lowest point so there will be tons of room for parking under cover.

I have a 1,700 sq ft shop. I have just enough room to pull the front of the car in one of the doors to change the oil. With about ten minutes or re arranging, I can pull a vehicle in all the way and close the door. Yep, it's full.

LOL

Yeah I remember back when we moved up here, told the wife "OMG we will never need any more storage"

The pole barn is full, there is a Boat behind the back wall in the pic in it's own 32" stall

The Shop is now overfull,

The two out buildings are now also full

And I have the UTV /Utility Trailer covered and sitting outside, I never thought I would see the day when I said "Hmmmm we might need to add on a few feet of storage :(

The worst part is it is just me and the wife so unlike a few of you guys I can't blame the Kids or Relatives :p
