cool! I cant oil the threads AND use locktite tho, so add 20% to the torque setting? mor???

NO..........REDUCE the torque figure by 20% to allow for the lubricating quality of the loctite.

Most torque figures are set forth assuming a dry/clean fastener.

Factory application doesn't always follow the color scheme were used to.

Very true. And in cases where dissimilar metals are used (steel bolts into aluminum for instance) galvanic corrosion often occurs and you really can't tell if the threads ever had a thread locker or not. Same is true of bolt threads exposed to coolant (usually around water pumps).

Some items that commonly have thread locking products are Flywheel Bolts, Pressure Plate bolts, Engine mounting bolts. Certainly not in every case....but worth looking into.

Diesel engines in tractors are notoriously vibration prone. I wouldn't say it is inherent....but they are not exactly balanced on a pin head, so adding loctite to certain fasteners is not generally a bad idea even if the factory didn't do so.
