Hope that hinge is solid and the tree doesn’t do a pirouette on the stump.

This summed up my concern. The appearance is that he’s cut all the way around with the axe. It ain’t easy felling a small tree with a big axe. I would think in the time it took to do that, he coulda made friends with someone that has a saw. That starts turning into some pretty good accuracy with an axe when it has to go that deep. Cutting nearly straight across the grain ain’t the fastest cutting either.

Few years ago a coworker said he was going to see Tom Petty the upcoming weekend.

I said Tom Petty’s dead

He was shocked!

A co-worker had the choice one day to see Willie Nelson, or the same night Tom Petty - he said "I'd better go see Willie, who knows when he'll die" - he never got to see Tom
