Took me a few seconds to figure that one out.
This summed up my concern. The appearance is that he’s cut all the way around with the axe. It ain’t easy felling a small tree with a big axe. I would think in the time it took to do that, he coulda made friends with someone that has a saw. That starts turning into some pretty good accuracy with an axe when it has to go that deep. Cutting nearly straight across the grain ain’t the fastest cutting either.Hope that hinge is solid and the tree doesn’t do a pirouette on the stump.
I don’t argue. I just explain why i’m right.
Im going out on a limb here (pun intended) and gonna guess that one’s leaning against another tree. It really sucks when they don’t move as planned or expected.This is the same guy that needed a wedge above:
