That's it, I'm taking out a hit on anyone mowing grass!

Do you think I can get a group rate? 🥴
Oh man, I am in danger now. I had to mow the grass over my septic drain field the other day. I am waiting for the comments on that little revelation.

my grass is still 2' below the 'white'. had a guy ask about a rider deck, yes I have one, YOU have 2 options...1) wait until Mr. Sun comes out for 2-3 weeks or grab the steel shovel and hack out the ice and snow to get to your 'prize'. he said he'd come back next month.....
hm, grass over septic...reminds me I have to clean out the 'grease trap tank' this year..great a job nobody will do, cept me.

Why do you have a "grease trap tank"?
An Ontario septic code thing?

Maybe they should have just sent her a text.
Looks like the waitng room at the Dr. office!

I was at he dentist office a couple of weeks ago and an lady was reading a book. I told her she has an unusual hobby, and she looked at me kind of 'like what do you mean". I mentioned her reading a book in the waiting room and everyone else is pecking at their phone. It started a long conversation with one other who wasn't on a phone also.

Dunno about code, but it's a good way to extend the life of your septic system.
For sure! We do all sorts of tricks to try to prevent fats making its way into our septic system and are fortunate there is just the 2 of us. If we had kids I would install a trap as opposed to paying for pumping. Anyone with previous commercial kitchen experience knows all about grease traps!

Grease is an issue with septic piping, but proper bacteria in a septic tank, should go a long way toward avoiding a septic tank grease issue.
That said: The drain field certainly does not like grease
Laundry detergents and bleach are a real septic tank issue.
Separate gray water leaching is an excellent idea for extending septic system life.

Commercial kitchens are usually connected to municipal sewage systems.
