Hey, that's how the mainstream media works! The Indians on the Ojibwa/Chippewa First Nation reservation in Grand Bend asked their new chief if the coming winter was going to be cold or mild. Since he was a chief in a modern society, he had never been taught the old secrets. When he looked at the sky, he couldn't tell what the winter was going to be like.
Nevertheless, to be on the safe side, he told his tribe that the winter was indeed going to be cold and that the members of the village should collect firewood to be prepared.
But, being a practical leader, after several days, he got an idea. He went to the phone booth, called the Environment Canada Weather Service and asked, 'Is the coming winter going to be cold?'
'It looks like this winter is going to be quite cold,' the meteorologist at the weather service responded.
So the chief went back to his people and told them to collect even more firewood in order to be prepared.
A week later, he called the Environment Canada Weather Service again. 'Does it still look like it is going to be a very cold winter?'
'Yes,' the man at Weather Service again replied, 'it's going to be a very cold winter.'
The chief again went back to his people and ordered them to collect every scrap of firewood they could find.
Two weeks later, the chief called the Environment Canada Weather Service again. 'Are you absolutely sure that the winter is going to be very cold?'
'Absolutely,' the man replied. 'It's looking more and more like it is going to be one of the coldest winters we’ve ever seen.'
'How can you be so sure?' the chief asked.
The weatherman replied, 'The Indians are collecting a shitload of firewood !'
Every single day!
Must have required real expertise!
How would you write up that fix???? I've gotten really creative when I've had another branch spend $$$$$ to ship me a piece of equipment to fix, because they couldn't figure out the issue.Every single day!
Then they would be back at the dealership bit$hing because the sunroof closes on it's own everytime they hit the button for the windshield washer fluid.you'd think a $$$$$$$ priced AUDI would have a 'rain sensor' and automatically CLOSE the sunroof ??
Nothing a liberal application of duct tape and removal of the sunroof fuse wouldn't cure.
Years ago just put of highschool, I got my first apartment. Ran into two issues off the bat. Not one store in town sold a shower curtain.
Some of the Fords/Lincoln’s have what they call global opening, if you hold the unlock button on the key fob for a few seconds it will roll the windows down and open the sunroof(if it has one) Have seen many come in over the years complaining that they come out to their vehicles and all the windows are open. First question is do you let the kids play with the car keys when you in the store/dr/etc…Then they would be back at the dealership bit$hing because the sunroof closes on it's own everytime they hit the button for the windshield washer fluid.
Yup, I found out about that feature on my service truck. I was in Wichita KS, and it was 8 degrees out. I was packing up tools and transferring them from the shop back to my service truck. Had my hands full, and my tool bag happend to be resting on my truck key. Surprised me and another guy when both windows rolled down all of a sudden. Figured it had something to do with the remote because I had set the panic alarm off just before that. Took me a minute playing with the remote before I figured out how to get the windows to roll down againSome of the Fords/Lincoln’s have what they call global opening, if you hold the unlock button on the key fob for a few seconds it will roll the windows down and open the sunroof(if it has one) Have seen many come in over the years complaining that they come out to their vehicles and all the windows are open.
