Reminds me of a story my Grandad told me many years ago. A hobo was walking along a rural road here in Lancaster County and trying to come up with a scheme to get a free lunch. He spied a "road apple" in front of a farmhouse and figured he'd prey upon the kindness of an old Amish woman working in the garden there.

He walked up to her and said "Good morning. I've been walking all morning and all morning and all I have to eat is this old dried-out horse turd."

She looked him over and said "My lands, you poor soul. Go out in the barn and get a fresh one."

I haven't forgotten that only one in five people in our population have "elected" a person from a handfull of cronies to form a "majority government" and to use extortion to take half of ALL OF OUR pay in the form of taxes and charge us "rent" on the properties we think we own.
