That photo cracks me up. They were "rebels" with quarter-sized tattoos on their shoulder.
BZMost boomers would know what that is because very many boomers have served in the armed forces and they know the phonic alphabet. Those that have not served in law enforcement or the military most likely don;t know it.
If April showers bring May flowers, what do May flowers bring?
Thinking about it, I have to laugh, independent of the thread title, but true. Most boomers would know what that is because very many boomers have served in the armed forces and they know the phonic alphabet. Those that have not served in law enforcement or the military most likely don;t know it.
Well, they are brown lumps/bars.
So what you're telling me is you can only tighten barbaric bolts and nuts and can only loosen metric bolts and nuts? I hope you have the left handed equivalent...I like my old Craftsman wrench better, inch on one side
then simply flip it over for metric.

I don't think anybody was telling you anything. It is the "Daily Chuckle" thread by the way~So what you're telling me is you can only tighten barbaric bolts and nuts and can only loosen metric bolts and nuts? I hope you have the left handed equivalent...
And don't anybody start saying it's supposed to be the other way around! I am 100% positive, and everybody else should know, that the orientation on the top is for righty tighty and the orientation on the bottom is for lefty loosey! If you say otherwise, you are dead wrong! Yes, I'll sometimes flip it in order to get into spaces that it wouldn't work in otherwise, but that doesn't change the fact that it is the way I've laid it out!
It all depends on which side of the equator you are on. An Australian adjustable wrench will be marked opposite of the United States model. So what you're telling me is you can only tighten barbaric bolts and nuts and can only loosen metric bolts and nuts? I hope you have the left handed equivalent...
