I agree with you 100%. I don't know how but this crap needs to stop. A very tough time for law enforcement, these folks are between a rock and a hard place right now. Sure there were mistakes made, serious mistakes and they need to be dealt with also but there are good and bad in every job.The only non-confrontational option is individual choice. If individuals want to march in the streets, congregate at the beach, or rub elbows in a bar, that is their option. Yes C-19 cases numbers will continue to rise, but no one can fix ignorance, disrespect, nor complacency. Our medical facilities can not treat the vast numbers that will be the result and it's not the Governor's nor the President's fault.
Rioting, burning, and property destruction is criminal and should be expected to be met with force.
Not in my wildest dreams, still having trouble wrapping my head around what's happening. I'm thinking people should have said no to their children a lot more often. Our law enforcement personnel have been placed in a situation where they are having to defend their own lives while trying to do their intended job. They are all individuals so there will always be "bad apples" but the great majority are also our neighbors with families. They have no way of knowing who is friend and who is foe.
When a well intentioned person places himself within a group of not well intentioned people, there is a good possibility that bad things could happen to them. Law abiding should avoid the non-law abiding.
Who in their right mind would expect a national and even a worldwide medical situation to escalate into a legal, illegal, and political confrontation.

Magicman, I think I remember you commenting that you wore an N95 mask while sawing lumber, is that right? I am wondering if the air exit valve could be covered with a piece filter material thus protecting both the wearer with the mask filter, and a bystander with the added piece? I have ordered one of those types but it won't come for a couple weeks. The big problem is getting a good fit of the mask housing to the particular wearer, and that is a guess on my part. Have you tried different brands over the years? The only non-confrontational mask option is individual choice. Yes that is correct. I now and have always worn an N95 mask while sawmilling. The exhalation valve could be covered on the inside of the mask to somewhat filter/restrict the outflow, but it would need to be fairly thin. Too much and the breath moisture would saturate the mask rendering it impossible to inhale through. The mask is really thick to achieve the N95 rating.Magicman, I think I remember you commenting that you wore an N95 mask while sawing lumber, is that right? I'm not sure where you're going with this. I believe covid is far from being done. Been a long time since the world has been in such a turmoil with no end in sight. There are vaccines for pneumonia although not 100% effective and I'm sure many will refuse to take it but at least there is something. Pneumonia has been with us for many years and Covid has only been around for months and there is still not a lot known about it so we don't really have any idea what the effects will be in years to come even if a vaccine is found. I guess what I'm trying to say is one doesn't lessen the other. One death from either one is one too many, after all it is someones loved one and it hurts no matter what the cause.CDC: Pneumonia deaths exceed COVID deaths this year in Kansas

Actually Covid has been around for centuries. This is just the first time the news is pushing it.I'm not sure where you're going with this. I believe covid is far from being done. All the best my friend, I do appreciate your effort to help keep the rest of us informed.
How about we just let those not wanting to wear a mask where it’s been decreed by health officials as critical, go their own way?—with the stipulation they agree to a waiver of treatment that states they will of course be treated if they do become ill, but only so after those patients who had agreed to wear one. Sort of like the gene pool getting that needed shock of chlorine, if you will.
