I see the CDC has come out now saying the masks should even be worn at home. I find that pretty far fetched and I'm not gonna do that.

Smells of political motivation.
Where did you see that? Seems odd unless they are talking about households with grandkids in school and grandparents in the same house?

They will probably come up with a bunch of ways to make this outbreak last longer, just give them some time.

Likely just as good as any other group. Since 1943.... that's got to amount to something.
I like the "Non-partisan" bit...

The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons – AAPS – is a non-partisan professional association of physicians in all types of practices and specialties across the country.

Since 1943, AAPS has been dedicated to the highest ethical standards of the Oath of Hippocrates and to preserving the sanctity of the patient-physician relationship and the practice of private medicine.

Mailing Address: AAPS | 1601 N. Tucson Blvd. #9 | Tucson, AZ 85716

They have a tiny membership and they are fervent anti-vaxers. Read about them on Wikipedia:

Sheep - - - I did hear that the other day as well. Maybe on the radio on my way to work?

They were talking about multi-generational houses.

Several people mentioned family members having to stay home until they tested negative, and the latest news is the CDC has changed its guidelines to indicate repeat testing was not likely to be useful for people recovering from mild or moderate infections.

They thought (given the currently available data) that 10 days after symptom onset and after temperature returns to normal would be good enough to prevent further transmission. That last clause is hard for me to interpret in their guidelines. 10 days after normal temp or 10 days after onset of symptoms?

https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/hcp/duration-isolation.html

It was suggested by an interviewer on a radio program that they were motivated by the need to save tests, but the person representing CDC said no...

In any case it is good news if the period when one is likely to transmit the virus is relatively short.

The guidelines being modified frequently, I think, causes a lot of the frustration on what to do and when.

Watched a buyer in the sale barn pull down his mask every few minutes to spit his skoal on the floor. Saw people doing it last week as well. He was one of ten wearing a mask out of 50-60 people.

FEAR seems to be contagious and spreads worse than this or any other virus. What are we going to do about THAT?

Some of that could be alleviated if news came in detail with explanations instead of sound bytes. Of course you have to get people to listen...

Are masks required in Kansas? I dunno what you do about spitting? I recommend leaving...

Yes, we're to be wearing mask in public places, but I had a neighbor visiting and he was in Walmart and some folks did not have mask. I thought Walmart corp. decided all stores would require mask... But I pretty much stay out of any group, including family birthday parties!

Wear a mask if you can't distance. Got to keep your shoes clean anyway.
In England, the "social distance" is 3 feet. 'Just enough space so two drinkin buddies can raise a pint together without bumping elbows and spilling good beer!

That is what was quoted in the news, but I guess that it was fake.
The stores say they are going to enforce the mask rule but then the employees are afraid of the irate customers, and / or are told to stick to helping customers. A security guard is to be the enforcer, but they think their responsibility ends if they hand a mask to a customer at the door. Not sure around here what will happen since stores can be fined as well as customer. And then there are a few sheriffs around saying they won't enforce anything. Nothing like mixed messages.

How long would you like it to last?
