What paint products are you using?

Spray booth?

Well that's a tricky question. For automotive or restoration work I use base/Clear paints but for tractor stuff I machinery enamel. No spray booth but when I go to paint my shop is spotless. MY paint work is where I take all my pride. If I see any dust I'm devastated and I know it's hard to believe but my paint work is flawless.
I use HVLP equipment in the shop. Outside air supply as well. I attached a few pics of related paint work.

Well thank you very much. Both my wife and I really appreciate that. Yes she enjoys seeing how things transpire with all the restorations. The tractor stuff not so much but she still enjoys seeing the outcome.

Yes. Everything is washed down and the floor remains wet while the painting is in progress. It keeps dust down and trapped in the water resulting in zero dust if done properly.

I’m going to title this mod “Thinking Inside The Bucket”
Installed the bucket hooks. I went with two 5/16th weld on hooks for each side of the bucket and they are attached in line with each FEL loader arm. In the center I went with a 11.000 lbs swivel ring. I placed it in that area because that's where the thickest part of the bucket happens to be. All the holes were punched on the Edwards iron worker and the weld on hooks were pulse welded on a Millermatic 350P. Galvanized carriage bolts were used for the installation.

Placement of hooks on any bucket is based on personal preference in my opinion and the placement of my hooks are right where I wanted them and yes, inside the bucket and out of the way

Wow, your 1st two restoration pics bring back memories.... the first motorcycle I restored was a CA95 150 Dream in blue, the little brother of that 305.
I also had a black Honda step through, a virtual twin to the second pic.

Man that was a flash back,,, that 305 dream was one sweet little bike,, and it lead me down the path of 2 wheeled bliss many years ago,, Mine never looked that good, sometimes I wish I would have kept it,,

Ya I could but here I am looking at the bucket and saying to myself " let's put a few hooks on the thing". When it comes to actual lifting nothing's going to beat the forklift. The 5740 just can lift like the fork lift but there will be times you still need hooks on the tractors.

They Were Framed!

That's what I'm calling this mod. This one took from start to finish 5 hours but it was well worth it. Gee. If you passed gas walking by those rear lights I think they would break so imagine if you next to a tree and a branch struck one. Well I'm not saying it still won't happen BUT it will be a lot harder to do. Fabricated out of 2' X 1/8th flat bar. My two goals in this mod was to make the rear lights stronger while attempting to make the mod look like it's always been there. Not sure if I succeeded. Here's how they turned out.

Skeets they are the prototypes lol. They are "One Offs". I may start producing them. Lets see how much interest is in them plus I'd like to let these go through a trial run as well.
You like them? My wifey said she thought they were always on the machine.

Nope no mesh. I didn't want to turn the lights into something that looked like it came off a old woods rig.

My goal was to protect the light housing and the mounting stub while making it look as if it was always there.

Looks like they should have come that way from the factory. Much more protection now without fully covering the light, looks great just as all your other mods.
Really enjoying following along all your mods . Your a true craftsman , thanks for sharing.
