I tried talking to them.

They list the 1KBX25AS for the BX25 and that is all they will say fits.

Not open to talk to me and discuss why the new 1KBX70AS would not fit it or what would need to be done to make it fit.

I see at least one other cab maker that is selling the same part number for both BX25 and BX25D, so the differences if any must not be significant.

But I still like the 1KBX70AS the best right now.

My cab clears my door my 1 1/2 inches, with the ROPS in the down posistion. If it did not clear I was going to take some air out of the rear tires to make it work. My garage is where i do all my maintenance so it had to fit for me.

What height are your garage doors. Mine are 84 and I thought the overall cab height was 84.5? I have the same issue, garage is where it needs to be.

Did I see it right? Looked like the fuel cap was covered. If it was how do you refuel?
Yes the fuel cap has a cover that goes over it. But you do not tighten the two screws all the way down. The rubber seal under the cover keeps the cover from moving.

When you need to re-fuel, just push down on the top cover and slide it towards the front of the tractor and it comes off, then unscrew your tractor fuel cap, just that easy.

The cover is "Curtis Cab" way of keeping fumes out of the cab area.

This BX ,performed spectacularly this winter, in temperatures down to -10° , which was the lowest that I was out working at night.
The heater worked great and would highly recommend it. I did block off half the radiator screen to help in the temperature that were below zero.

here's a picture of my Kubota during the winter with my plow blade on the front which came in handy and a whole lot faster. Now put away , thank God for warmer weather.

That is correct.

The overhead console stays on , and it has two fans pointing at the driver to cool you if needed. CD player still works to make your work go a little faster. Overhead LED lite bar is still on. I can light up the night with a 360 degree Light pattern using all seven of my LED lights that I added earlier.

Total time to take doors and back wall off is about one minute, but could be faster if i was racing someone to show off. Which would be about thirty seconds. This was another selling point for me to make this purchase. Works for me.

In your pictures it appears the windshield is still in. Does that come out as well? I'm a big guy and in the summer I need all of the air moving as possible ;)

Yes, the front windsheild can be removed if one wanted it out for the summer time.
I installed a qiuck disconnect for the washer just incase it needed to be removed.

I doubt you would notice anything except maybe some better traction due to the weight.

Does anybody notice a power difference from the weight of the Curtis cab?just a thought.
No power difference. If anything it may be slower at top speed due to wind resistance of the large cab. Who cares about that with a tractor.

I now have my rear tires loaded with 11 gal. of washer fluid in each tires.

I do notice that it is not bouncy going in the field anymore. With the 3 in. wheel spacers installed, I feel better driving this tractor. I like the feeling of not having my tires under me anymore.

I notice the power of this tractor , in low gear and four wheel drive turned on , with no wheel spin , awesome.

I also have used the rear wheel lock while pulling my son who got his 4 wd pickup truck stuck in the field, both tires pulling at the same time , great stuff.

Here's what you find when you come home.

The five year old was driving the car in the field and got it stuck up to the axles, then the father tries to get him out with the 4wd truck, gets it stuck up to both axles. then they call me to pull them both out. KIDS, both of them need supervision.

what a muddy mess this made of my tractor.

Just had to clean my tractor before putting it away.

I really like this cab...I have a BX150 and just ordered a BX25D for an upgrade. I didn't need the backhoe but ordered it because I wanted it and I know it will be convenient when I do have some digging to do. I also currently have a Toro Groundsmaster with a cab that I am working on as a project for snow removal. Perhaps I'll sell the Groundsmaster and use the money towards a Curtiss Cab. I'll have to wait a bit though. Perhaps once I get the zero down zero interest Kubota loan paid off. Give me something to look forward to.:)

I wish you had contacted me sooner, because I purchased my tractor and the Curtis Cab at the same time.

So the cost was added to my zero down , zero interest plan by my Kubota dealer.
