Has anyone converted there 4pt pin style loader to a mini skid steer Quick Connect attachment on their 7100 or 7200? (not the full size conversion as that won't work on these small kubotas. It hangs the implement out to far.) I have not seen it done and want to know why it couldn't or shouldn't be. With the smaller mount you can keep it close to the pivots not losing much lift capacity. There are a plethora of attachments for the miniskid that I think would be the perfect size for my small B7200. Mainly just want the quick connect for bucket and forks to start with. My bucket is shot and I want to use the brackets to make the miniskid quick connect. Then I have access to all the cheaper implements out there. Including a new or used bucket.
Any issues that may outweigh the good with using these small miniskid implements on this FEL?
I have not seen any conversion hook ups or kits online for what I'm proposing here.

I have converted several B7100's to SSQA the are not out any further than my L.
Lift was as good as it should be.
You can get a lot more SSQA buckets for cheaper than you can mini's.
But to each their own have at it, will still beat the snot out of a pin on bucket.

Agree. Pin bucket has got to go!
China implements look fairly priced, i know not maybe as heavy duty but I would think they could hold up to my b7200 abuse. Lotta stuff to hook up with mini attachments more in line for the b7200 . I'm thinking hard to wreck the tractor with too small of bucket say than one too big u shouldnt be using like u could get with a ssqa. For example, minis have grapples more in line size wise (i think)to the b series. with the mounts being well within the loader arms, fabricating a nice tight pivot for mini attachments to get full load weight lift potential should b doable. Im workin on it

I think you are overestimating the thickness of a SSQA system. There's not much difference unless you are putting an adapter on a pin-on attachment. Here's my B7100 with full size SSQA bucket:

I have all the brackets. So far havent heard any convincing/show stopping reasons not to try the mini skid attachment. I was going to try and modify some regular weld on ssqa i bought for another project to make the mini skid attachment. I could still go regular ssqa though seeing other success stories on that. Still think the mini attachments are more size appropriate. But i have no experience with any so theres that lol
