Heard many times his real name is Gary, but his mother’s thick accent made it sound like “Geddy.” He confirmed that was true in the segment.

An aside, I made the cherry blanket chest in the middle over 30 years ago.

I just found out Geddy from Rush is not his real name. His name is Gary but his mom had such a thick accent it sounded like Geddy. And so it stuck! NO! Dont call your dog Gary!

Our pup Chloe was born with Megaesophagus, an untreatable digestive issue. She was one of the most loving dogs you could have ever met. Unfortunately, we lost her after a 9-month struggle to keep her alive. That was a very long time ago, but she is still in our hearts.

She was a very sound sleeper after playing hard with the other dogs in the house. She liked to get under anything handy. She was about 15 weeks old in this picture

Something’s wrong, very very wrong…there is never this much calm in the house before it’s dinner time…I don’t know who or what but something must be missing eaten or broken. Not 1 but 2 awake and calm?…something’s just not right in the balance of the forces in their sphere of influence.

Ours, an hour before feeding time, at minimum one (usually two) are hitting me with their hands trying to get me to say that word (or see me get up and head for the kitchen) food or dinner as they double step me assuming it's that time. It's like I'm living the life in a Krusty Sponge Bob Sequel.......LoL.

So sorry. Terrible loss and our sincere condolences.

Many of us here have been through that recently.

Doesn’t make it easier, but we all know how hard it is to lose a loved pet like that.
