It is a lot safer to use cotton rope, because they can still ingest the smaller fibers from the nylon rope, and they might not pass through the intestines like a cotton rope fiber will. This is why all commercially available dog ropes are made of cotton.Appliance repair is tiring…he’s zonked with his toy.
I make those rope toys from hardware store. Nylon rope at $1.69 (?) per foot. Don’t shred so they ingest the fibers. Just need to singe the ends.
3 feet and put some knots in it. All of our dogs have loved them.

I know exactly what you mean, our beagle that we lost last year used to get the saucer eyes.We took our pup to the ice cream shop yesterday. Although your pups look much calmer than our pup. He gets those crazy eyes when he sees his ice cream cone.
You know that's got to feel good........!
The dog groomer comes here once a month. We open the gate and Max runs to her van and jumps right in. He loves his grooming/massage day. If he had it his way, it would be a daily event. You know that's got to feel good........!
Just did one our Long Hair Dachshunds the other day. She loved it.
I am sorry about your buddy. That’s never easy.Got word a week ago that my little buddy has a malignant tumor on his lip/jaw. I can't put him (and myself) thru any staging/surgery. He's never more than 50 feet from me at all times. He's actually laying at my feet as I try to type this message. I'm going to miss him deeply.
We decided to take him back to our previous house for what may be his last swim. He spent the first 4 years at this home and it's wonderful swimming opportunities. Took a picture with him at our old house on the same porch as his first day with us 11 years ago.
