What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Clearing a 30x20yd patch of property in between mine and my neighbor's house to install a small pole building. A few trees were felled, and saved $2,000 by having them leave all the debris in place. Working on getting the pile broken up and moved. Lots of big trunk sections under that pile. Tons...

    BX2380 Won't Start

Just an update to close this out and info for anyone else with a similar issue. This was resolved in a day by my local dealer. They sent someone to my property to pick it up and diagnose the problem. Turned out the ground strap to the frame had come undone and this is what caused the complete...

    BX2380 Won't Start

Thanks for all the feedback. Battery is connected properly and there is no PTO engagement. I cycled the PTO lever several times to be sure nothing wonky with that. I did check the 50A main fuse and it is fine. I agree with Russel King that it may be something wrong with the dash panel due to...

    BX2380 Won't Start

So there I was... Had been running great for 3-4 hours today moving firewood around and then clearing branches with the pallet forks. I went to put another load of branches on the forks. Pulled up to the pile, throttle set to idle, brake set, no PTO anything, turned it off and got off. Loaded up...

    LX3310 Cab seat cover

Just out of curiosity: Why do people like to have seat covers inside cabs? What benefit does it provide?

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Been a productive few days for mods and maintenance on my BX2380. Got 2" wheel spacers installed, finally got my Heavy Hitch front weight bracket installed (lots of issues with that order, unfortunately), did a full cleaning and maintenance on the mower deck, shimmed the hydraulics to just a...

Anyone try these (BX tractor upgrade)?

The engineers that designed my BX loader are much smarter than me, so I have no desire to force the loader to do things that they obviously wanted to prevent it from doing 😉

    Piranha blade

Love the Piranha on my BX. Probably the most useful purchase I've made in terms of doo-dads for the tractor...and there have been plenty of such purchases. I leave it on all the time now since it makes most everything easier when bucket work is needed. Even use it to clear pretty thick brush...

    BX2601 with BX23 size tires????

Choosing smaller tires will definitely hurt your effort to optimize performance in mud.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Haven't done anything on my Kubota today or this weekend because the dealership still has it doing the 50hr service which I can't imagine would take more than a couple hours to complete for a competent mechanic. Should have done it myself but I like the dealership to do the services for anything...

BX23's are NOT for mud gripe!

I think much of the blame is on the R4 tires. They are terrible in the mud, IMO. But they look like they would be good in the mud so I think sometimes people just assume they will be. Nope. Those shallow/wide cleats get loaded up fast and then it's game over.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Cleaned up a 40yd stretch of the entrance to my hunting lease parking area that had gotten rutted up into a washed out mud pit. The "before" pic of that is actually the best and driest it's been in awhile. Got to the point we were getting our trucks stuck after rains. Removed some of the mud...

    Daily Chuckle

A.1. is from the UK, not the US. So there was no civil war occurring where/when it was invented. 😜

    Daily Chuckle

I had a very large woman roll her packed cart up to the self checkout stand next to mine not long ago. She immediately called the attendant over and told her to ring the items up for her and bag them, which the attendant did without question. I couldn't believe it. I'm just standing there...

    Daily Chuckle

Yeah, but a girl with tattoos and piercings will **** your **** behind the dumpster at the bowling alley less than an hour into the first date.

    No CC

There’s often more than just a percentage that retailers have to pay the CC companies. It’s usually 1.5-3% plus a flat fee of 25-35 cents per transaction. That adds up. This is why a lot of mom and pop shops have a little sign that says $5 or $10 minimum for CC purchases.
