I had a very large woman roll her packed cart up to the self checkout stand next to mine not long ago. She immediately called the attendant over and told her to ring the items up for her and bag them, which the attendant did without question. I couldn't believe it. I'm just standing there wondering...What do you not understand about how this is supposed to work?? And of course everyone else at self checkout had to wait if they had a problem because the attendant was scanning and bagging for that fool. This is our society now.

As I read this I could not help but wonder what the woman's size had to do with this situation. I am sensing a micro-aggression against people who are weight challenged or handicapped by fear of technology.
