    Wash and Wax

It brings up a question. How sensitive is a diesel engine to washing? I have a BX23S, if I was to was the engine am I doing harm?

    BX23 Issues

Could it be as simple as the seat switch? The seat was turned backward for backhoe operation?

Dealer won't sell backhoe uninstalled .

Great vid here on the BX2380 series explaining why the BH on only 1 unit.

    Engine Trouble

Don't give up on it too soon. Kubotas are very easy to maintain, you have an issue that can be fixed with some advice of folks on this site. The BX23S is a very reliable machine, once you get over this issue you are likely to be problem free for a good long time. Do your oil and fuel filter...

    First tractor, questions new bx23s

All good points. I agree on the BXpanded under armor as well, they also have other great products. I too bought the 3PH, however like many BX23 owners on here I am trying to sell it, still in the bob brand new. I've only had the BH off a few times for maintenance on the machine. That being said...

    Rubber Floor Mat

Just coming back to this post. Aside from the obligatory jousting over road salt on a "remove rubber mat or not" post, I have decided to remove my rubber mat entirely and do line x or some other similar solution. What however do you do with the holes where the mat clips were? I assume you can...

Footprint in the garage of a BX23s with bucket and backhoe.

Just as important s garage door height. It's nice to have enough height to leave the ROPS up. I have to lower mine and I seem to forget and always bump my head on it when it's down and I'm moving around the tractor.

    Rubber Floor Mat

Planning for spring project, remove floor mat to clean well underneath. Better to remove forever and do rhino lining or similar or simply buy replacement clips to replace mat? I figure it should be removed at least twice a year to clean/inspect under it?

    Older BX getting slower....

Just curious as I see people saying "if you abused the tractor". It seems to me that the BX is geared towards homeowners and is relatively bulletproof. By that I mean hydraulic relief valves etc. are built in that prevent "abuse" that would cause long term damage? Am I correct or can an operator...

    New BX 1880 Owner

BX1880DUDE, don't take it personal. As with likely all forums you will get lots of answers to your questions, some sent with good intentions, some not so much. You will soon learn that there are many good and even great posters here with a wealth of knowledge. Sorry to say but it seems like...

    BX Series - First Service

Bota products and a few others make a fuel filter relocation kit for the bX. Check into it before next fuel filter change, it makes that stupid fuel filter easier to deal with.

    SSQA snow blower for BX23

anyone know of a snowblower for a bx23 that is ssqa compatible? I've seen some that are "self-contained" meaning no PTO hookups. I'm wanting to have true quick change ability between the snow blower and bucket.

Mounting a trailer hitch ball on the rear of a BX23S

Since the tongue weight in this is low enough to move by hand I recommend getting the BXPANDED quick change for your backhoe bucket and the receiver mount. I have one and tow a utility trailer full of firewood with no issues. No need to remove the backhoe, super easy and quick to change over and...

    Impressed with the BX capabilities!

I love my BX23S. While it is true that at times a bigger tractor would have been nice, I simply slow down and enjoy the seat time. It ALWAYS beats a shovel and wheelbarrow! A few more trips with the loader, a smaller bite with the backhoe, whatever it takes. It's here when I need it and more...

    Temp storage building

As Eviltwin says, these are notorious for building condensation inside. In warmer months I roll up the back (non door) side quite a bit to allow airflow and I also cut off the bottom 6 or 8 inches of cover that lay on the ground to allow some air in. These are a "good not great" solution to...

1.33 acres, heavily wooded and overgrown... Need advice on a tractor purchase!

Partial to a BX23 because I own one, however it is limited compared to others as stated above. Now, how large are the trees you will be clearing? I've used pallet forks to pick up just about anything that is manageable to be moved as far as trees/brush. If you are heavily wooded with lots of...

BX2380 to a BX23S Maybe have a question for those that have the 23S

Congrats on the BX. I didn't mean to imply that the backhoe is awful or useless, it is anything but and I love mine. Just wanted to point out that there is a big difference in the BH and the Mini. I'm all for the suggestions to keep the 2380 and buy a mini, however my wife seems to think that is...
