    Radio Flyer Wagon

The Radio Flyer wagon that my children had beck in the 80s has been used and abused for many years, so I decided to refurbish it. I disassembled it, every bolt came loose even though it has set outside for many years. Took the pieces to a local powder coater and had it done in red and white. I...

    must-have workshop features

I'd really like the shop to be insulated better so I could heat it in the winter. Two other things would be a 2 post lift and a Bridgeport mill.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

A close friend called the other day, and the starter on his BX2230 that had been giving him grief for a while, finally got bad enough that it had to be changed before it quit altogether. He is pretty well laid up right now, waiting for knee replacement surgery, so I had told him I would change...

Dropping an implement with engine off

It's not a problem, the oil is just returned to the tank or reservoir.

    BX23S Plow

It's not a bolt-on, but I adapted a JD 54" hydraulic blade off my JD430 to my BX with a mount bolted to the front of the frame. Can keep the MMM on, and it used the FEL hydraulics.

    Daily Chuckle

After 35 years of marriage, a husband and wife came for counseling. When asked what the problem was, the wife went into a tirade listing every problem they had ever had in the years they had been married. On and on and on: neglect, lack of intimacy, emptiness, loneliness, feeling unloved and...

I've probably watched that movie 25 times, at least. I think I know every line of dialogue. Not an old movie, but The Martian is a great movie too.

Gates never said any such thing, I'm sure the author of the meme is just pissed because of some half assed right wing conspiracy theory he saw on the internet. For the uniformed, the Gates Foundation has spent tens of millions on programs to wipe out diseases in areas around the world with...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Was going to change the oil in the BX Sunday, but didn't have a filter. i would have sworn I had an oil filter in the Kubota parts bin, but I didn't. So yesterday I made a trip to the local dealer and picked up a pair of them so I'll have one the next time. I almost choked when she gave me the...

A better way to change belt on a GR BX deck

I've used ratchet straps to put belts back on a couple different JD mower decks. Haven't had to change the belt on the BX deck yet.

One hour job takes..... Too long. Like this post.

Changed the oil in the BX yesterday. As usual, I was able to twist the filter off by hand. Should have made a video of it. Only hit my head on the FEL arms twice while walking under them.

If you lube the gasket on the oil filter and only tighten it !/2 turn or so after it contacts the base, the next time you'll be able to spin it off by hand, or at the worst with the help of a pair of channel locks. Have never needed a tool to remove the one on my BX2230. There is absolutely no...
