Well I got the new pump and blew the lines out...again and replaced the rear filter. The new rear filter no longer fills up, so there has to be something blocking the inlet now in the tank, no matter how hard I try I always manage to make a mess with diesel..now I wreak and so does my garage...

Well, I managed to get the dealer to warranty the part again. They didn't require much in the way of arm twisting. I simply stated I put it on in August and has less than 25 hours on it. The answer is because in a Diesel engine, part of the job of the engine oil is to contain the soot in suspension in the oil. The soot is a by product of the combustion process. That is why you need to use a diesel rated oil in a diesel engine, else the oil will not be able to take the soot load...

I have the kubota bagger on my bx25d and love it. I had a john deere 455 with powerflow bagger. In my opinion..for what its worth...the two systems arent even in the same league. The kubota unit is a better device with better flow at least in my use cases.
