    your neighbor is correct the tractors hydraulic pump capacity is not big enough for a log splitter, you need a pto run pump for them that puts out atleast 10gpm.

    Make sure all the hoses are connected (double check) and make sure the 3 pt is not topping out and causing a relief valve to open (just lower it alittle)

    Only 72" mid mowers and with only fit with turf tire, hodge is right 3pt anything will fit but 60" will be narrow if you have r4 tires
