I am new to the forum and have a question about a Kubota loader that is on a B2710, it works fine for lowering and bucket dump but when raising the bucket if you pull the stick past halfway it stops. You have to feather the bucket up using about half of the joystick travel. Anyone seen this or have opinions?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply!
I played with it a little more today [looking to buy] and it's not as bad as I described, the dead spot is closer to the end of the stick travel. I will try your suggestions when I get it here. May need a radiator, if so I will contact your dealership.

Like babyfat says.... remove the cap screws on the covers on the bottom end of the valve. Water gets in there and really screws everything up. Be careful and be sure to catch the 4 ball bearings and the spring behind them. Clean her up and before yo replace the cap covers.... drill a small drain hole on the bottom end of each cap and a small one near the top (thats where I squirt in WD40 every so often).
As far as rebuilding the valve... its a Husco monovalve and there is really nothing to rebuild,,, except for what you are doing. I bought an extra valve and a significant discount... bigtime. If you need it I am sure we can work something out....

Thanks very much for the help!!
Do you think I can pull those caps in place or would it be better to put the valve on the bench to do it?

Spent some time with the little machine today swapping out fluids and giving it a once over, then worked the road for an hour and am really impressed with it, lots of power even at 8800 ft elevation.

BC.... Pull the caps in place... by the way there is a slick trick in reassemblying the detent sleeve over the ball bearings WITH THE SPRING behind it.

Use a 6" long bolt with the a smaller diameter as the hole the spring goes into. Here is the trick... slide the detent collar onto the dummy bolt. Insert the spring in the valve stem hole. use lithium grease to hold the 4 ball bearings in their respective holes on the shaft. compress the spring with the bolt... push the ball bearings into the holes hitting the bolt. Now... use your other hand to slide the detent collar OVER the balls.... you are now back in business.... good luck! Butch
