    B1750 Lower Arm Length?

Thanks a lot! I've been posting all over the place trying to come up with measurements and you're the first one that has replied. I'm missing the complete 3pt hitch and need to order an aftermarket kit that's close to the original. Thanks again. Jim

    B1750 Lower Arm Length?

Can someone out there with a B1750 or B1550 tell me what the 3-pt lower arm length (hole to hole) is? Approximately. I'd appreciate it! Thanks. Jim

    Overheating L2500 1999

On my 1992 B1750 it wasn't that it was overheating, but rather there was a poor connection to the gauge from the printed circuit board. I was all set to buy a temp gun, but I cleaned the connections and it's been reading fine ever since. Jim

    3-PT Hitch Kit for B1750

I picked up a Kubota B1750 that is missing the complete 3 PT hitch assembly. I've been looking at this one on flea-bay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/KUBOTA-COMPACT-TRACTOR-CAT-1-3-Point-Linkage-Hitch-Kit-/140830794031 I'm wondering if this one will work? The specs say the lower lift arms are 19.68 "...

    glow plug light not working

When I had this problem on my b1750 it was poor contact between the bulb base and the printed circuit board in the dash. I cleaned it up and it's been working fine ever since. Jim

    Wk end outage

I understood what he meant... And I don't have any particular political problem with it either. Jim

    FEL control lever sticks

I had a similar problem recently... the piston on the left was stuck in the forward position. I removed the control valve from the tractor and put it over a square plastic pan to dismantle it... So I wouldn't loose anything. There was a small spring and ball on each piston as well as a larger...

    B1550 power steering help

I get all my parts from the local Kubota dealer... $19 for the upper seal sounds about right. The rubber bushing was kind of expensive too as I recall. I remember how bummed I was when I discovered hydraulic fluid coming out of the steering column on my new to me 1st tractor the first week I...

    B1550 power steering help

One more thought; this whole upper steering assembly seems to be prone to collecting moisture... I don't know if that's from being left outside uncovered or what, but anywhere that I noticed rust I coated it with lithium grease (e.g. inside steering column and on steering shaft) on reassembly. B1550 power steering help

Also; when you have the top casting off the steering box, examine the lower shaft for rust and possible pitting where the new seal will ride. Mine had a little so I lightly cleaned it with some emery cloth. It has not leaked so far, but I only have about 1 hour of run time since the repair was...

    B1550 power steering help

Sorry, I have the same issue with my iPad. It's really hard for me to comment on the lower shaft play, but mine had a fair amount as I recall. The upper and lower shaft are held together with a pin that the cotter key goes though... just remove the key and then drive out the pin with a punch. I...

    B1550 power steering help

Go to the Kubota website and look at the online parts manual... it has the detail on how everthing goes together. I have a factory shop manual, but it really didn't help much except for torque specs. If you replace the lower seal(which I think you need to do) you'll have to remove the column. It...

    B1550 power steering help

The upper bushing and seal get ruined from pulling yourself up onto the tractor from the steering wheel. That collar that you see on top of the column is the seal and I popped it off with a small chisel and hammer. But I think you will find that the lower seal on the top of the steering box is...

    B1550 power steering help

I recently fixed the same problem on my B1750. I removed the steering wheel, dash, column, upper shaft, and top of steering box. This gets you to that lower seal. I also replaced the upper seal and bushing in the column while I was at it. Jim
