I have a 2002 L3010 that I cannot start. The glow plug indicator works intermittently at best. Right now it does not come on at all in the cold weather. I have replaced the glow plug relay but still no luck. Any ideas?
Thanks

When I had this problem on my b1750 it was poor contact between the bulb base and the printed circuit board in the dash. I cleaned it up and it's been working fine ever since. Jim

Hook a test light or a voltmeter to the glow plugs and find out if voltage is present when they are supposed to glow. If not it must be the glow plug timer as you have replaced the relay.
One other thing to check is the water temp. sensor as it tells glow plug timer how long it needs to energize the glow plugs.

nitro - the glow plug light comes on and the tractor starts when it is above 30deg. This has happened to me twice now. But when it is cold out the gp light does not come on and the tractor cranks hard. Do you think that this points to the water temp sensor and what is the best way to test?
Thanks
