What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Cool, thanks. The way I’ve dealt with back lean is to use a wedge. Why not do it that way? (This is a genuine question, not trying to challenge your approach!)

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Interesting. Not the way I would have done it I think. But of course I didn’t see the tree or the surroundings. Mostly just because I’m green and don’t know how to rig anything really at all. I would have been afraid the tractor wouldn’t weigh enough. And I would have been really afraid the tree...

    Im new

I really liked my B2301. I have 25 acres, but really focus on five or so of them (so far). I wound up going bigger mostly for loader strength. Though I also found any sort of dirt or gravel moving or leveling was way easier with the heavier and wider machine. It’s also much less tippy feeling...

Need Help with B7100 and accessories, Pricing

Wow it’s gorgeous. Almost belongs somewhere for people to look at it, like a dealer showroom or something. I know that isn’t helpful at all, hah. Good luck with the sale.

New Tractor Advice for a newbie please

I really do like my backhoe. But if I were in your shoes, I think I may prefer an L2502 without the hoe than a smaller machine with.

    Friend Wants to Trade....

As I read many folks suggestions not to trade as it was a bad deal, I kept wondering how old and beat up your current machine was. Turns out, it’s a peach! Glad you didn’t do the trade.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I didn’t know about Quick Clot. Come to think of it I’ve forgotten just about all the first aid I learned in Scouts. I’ll add this to my shopping list, thanks. Perhaps along with a chainsaw first aid kit I saw someone else mention on the Forestry Forum. And new fire extinguishers (thanks @mcmxi...

    Equipment fires

Ever since seeing a badly burned car as a kid I’ve carried an extinguisher in my car. Not to save a vehicle, but in hopes I could get a person out. I asked my cousin (a retired firefighter) about the likelihood of the car exploding, and he said next to none, not something to really worry about...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Yeah, thanks. The Rust-oleum is made with phosphoric acid. I wasn’t sure if there is a way to get it in a more concentrated or cheaper way? I’m open to recommendations for next time.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Thanks. Yeah I’m pleased with the way the blade adjusts, I was on the lookout for one like this (I know you’ve commented about tool-less offset adjustment, a lesson I learned hard unbolting the moldboard of a LandPride blade I had). I had an older Servis that was SO HEAVY, sold that for $950 and...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Today I finished cleaning up an old back blade I picked up for $400. I’m fairly sure the thing is as old as I am (from the 80s) and was in fine shape really besides the surface rust, so this was probably not necessary. But it does look better and this will hopefully prolong its life. When...

Difficulty changing gear range on MX5400 HST

I have similar experience on my L4701, and the B2301 I had before that. I think it’s just how they are. I rock the HST pedal back one or two or three times until it takes less pressure on the range lever to move it.
