It states to not raise or lower the blower while plowing snow. I don't do that, so I'm guessing I'm ok with raising or lowering when not blowing snow. 😌

Yes, my fields are mostly flat. I also run it fully shifted out just so I don't have to run over the uncut grass with the tractor. Not as big in the pain in the arse as your issue but still a pain to have to keep adjusting it.

This what I have, it doesn't have a check valve so I'm assuming it restricts in both directions, which it does appear to do. I have the end labeled 1 conected at the rear romote connector,. I don't know if this even matters being as there is no check valve.

Holy crap, I have a L2195A with the L2180-1 subframe and have been raising and the snowblower with the PTO engaged for going on 13 years. I guess I've been lucky.
