What kind of chainsaw you have?

A friend recently gave me an old Homelite 150 with 16***8221; bar. Anyone know anything about these old saws?

I use one of these. It keeps out debris as well as water. http://www.mrfunnel.com/Mr._Funnel/Models.html

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Using mine for my bathroom remodel. Put the loader under the window and throwing the drywall, insulation, and flooring into the bucket and hauling it to the roll-off setting in the driveway.

    BX25D Backhoe - more balls?

Mine is set at 1950 PSI. It has enough power that it was lifting the front of the tractor off the ground when I hooked onto this large slab of concrete with the hoe and dug it out of my yard. It’s around 1200 lbs.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Cleaned up the back yard. Had a dozen tree stumps ground out so I had piles of wood chips. There was also a pile of rocks, bricks from an old patio I’d torn out and some pieces of a concrete slab that I found buried next to the shed. The biggest piece put up a fight all the way to the dumpster...

This is a simple dolly I built with 2x6 lumber and 5” casters.

    BX24 tie rod replacement

I had to heat mine with a torch to get the old one out as the threads were frozen. I wrapped a wet rag around the cylinder rod to keep heat from getting to the seals. The flats are only about 1/8” long so I made a wrench by cutting a notch in the end of a piece of 1/8” steel.

    Level indicator

Here you go. This is the thread I started when I built it. I used the loader a few hours today digging out an old brick paver patio and the level indicator was a huge help. http://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34739

    Level indicator

I gave up using the level decal and built this. It shows level at any height.

Brush Hog-What Have You Ran Over?

I was bush hogging an overgrown hog lot once and ground up a live hog around 100 lb. It was laying in some tall weeds and I never saw it. The IH 674 tractor bogged down like I had hit a tree stump only I knew there were no stumps around. It was not a pretty sight when I looked back.

    Trailering your tractor

I don’t have a trailer yet but I’ve been looking at 18ft 7,000 and 10,000lb tandems. When I bought my BX24 from a friend, he threw in the 6x10 trailer he had used to haul it. I’m lucky the darn thing made it home. It was an old converted boat trailer that was rusted through with several cracks...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Put the backhoe on to dig out a “small” piece of concrete sticking up in the yard. After a while of digging, the piece ended up being about 3’x5’x6” thick with a footer. I also unearthed some scrap steel, PVC pipe, bricks, and stone blocks. I wasn’t aware I had a landfill in my yard. They could...

    Backhoe & 3Pt Hitch

The 3 point will have to come off to put the backhoe back on. It takes about 1-2 minutes to remove and install the 3 point after the initial install.

Let's see pictures of your beautiful machines

Nice machines guys but my neck hurts from looking at those pics. Haha I***8217;ve found that with my Iphone, if I turn my phone sideways with the bottom of the phone in my right hand, the pics come out right side up when I post them.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Finished building my canopy. The frame is 40mm aluminum extrusion that’s designed for machinery guarding. The top is 1/4” HDPE plastic. The brackets will get painted once it warms up and stops raining.

    Changing BX25D Trans fluid

We all have our moments. Haha The strainer can be removed. It***8217;s on the left side facing the tire. Mine somehow had dirt and pieces of a leaf on the strainer. Apparently, the previous owner let in trash when he checked the fluid.

    Changing BX25D Trans fluid

When I drained my BX24, I used the loader and backhoe outriggers to lift the tractor high enough to fit a 5 gal bucket under the drain plug. I used jack stands for safety of course.

    Poor Mans 3pt salt spreader

Nice spreader! I built one similar from a pull behind spreader and made it with a sleeve hitch to attach to my Cub Cadets. Mine uses a motor and gearbox from a cordless drill. It’s on it’s second motor setup since the first was mounted underneath and the mixture of salt and water siezed the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I made mounting brackets for a canopy/ sun shade I’m building. Ignore the yellow paint. I recycled some pieces of 3/16” steel that was already painted.
