What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Thanks. If this winter is like the last 3, I will not need the chains as we did not have enough snow to plow.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Put the canopy back on after painting the brackets and modifying them to make the top fold down.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Put on some 1-1/2 inch wheel spacers and 2 link chains. Bring it on mother nature.

    Tire Chains On BX2670

The spacers fit great. There is plenty of clearance now for the chains.

    Tire Chains On BX2670

These are the spacers I have. There are at least 3 reviews from buyers who said they used them on BX tractors. I have not had a chance to install mine yet. https://www.amazon.com/ECCPP-Spacers-5x4-5-5x114-3-Mountaineer/dp/B013AD1KIE

    Tire Chains On BX2670

I bought 1.5 inch wheel spacers and chains for my BX24 with R4 tires. I am not sure how guys are running chains without spacers. The inside edge of the tread is less than a finger width from the frame reinforcement that runs from the loader back under the floor plate. I do not want to risk...

    Help BX23S

I have oil filter pliers that look similar to a large pair of channel locks. Is there room to get those in there?

    Rear remote kit installed

Do you have any pics of the frame modifications you made? I’m wanting to add rear remotes to my BX24.

Have you increased the hydraulic pressure of your BX tractor?

Re: Have you increased the hydrolic pressure of your BX tractor? I raised the pressure on my BX24 to 1950psi. It has been like that for about a year with no issues. Granted, I have only put on about 20 hrs since then. I do notice the backhoe has quite a bit more power and I do not hear the...

    Drill Press Recommendation?

If you plan on drilling steel with a bit larger than 1/2 inch, you will want a drill press capable of running slower than the 580rpm of the model you posted.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Had a tow hook laying around so I mounted it on the BX using existing holes.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Flushed the cooling system on the BX. The old coolant, which I assume was the original from 2007, looked clean.

    These people are out there

I saw one of our Darwin Award nominees at work standing 3 ft up on a 6 ft step ladder while 20 ft up in a scissor lift. Another guy repeatedly picks up 1,000 lb steel plates overhead with a magnet and stands underneath to clean them. Needless to say, I steer clear of them for my own safety...

I am too so I plan to build a guard for it.

    Ballast/weight Box

Nice weight box. If you have any scrap metal, toss that in before you pour the concrete. It will give you a little extra weight since steel is heavier than concrete. By ballast was a good way to get rid of a junk cast iron electric motor and a bucket of scrap steel.

    Florence

My friend I bought the BX from lives in Charleston, SC. As of this morning, he was still home. Hopefully, he gets out of there before it gets too bad to flee.

    Homemade Ballast

I have read that mixing dish soap with water keeps it from freezing. I am not sure if it is good to -30 F though.

Tow Vehicle?? What do you tow your Kubota with??

The day I hauled it home. Trailer came with the tractor. That’s the only time I hauled it on that trailer. Soon after, it was introduced to my Sawzall and scrapped, as upon further inspection, it was a rusted and unsafe pile of junk. I’m looking to buy a new trailer. Truck is a 2016 Silverado...

    Post holes with a BH?

My dad and grandpa would drill the hole, throw in a couple inches of crushed limestone, set the post in and fill the holes with more limestone, tamping it as they went to pack it in tight. The gravel helps the water drain away from the post to prevent rot.
