BX2200 feels like it is going to tip over

Since there isn’t any suspension to speak of, there are no sway bars to not work. Maybe check the steer axle and see if anything is loose, worn that is providing some sloppiness that wasn’t then before. x2 on removing the FEL if you don’t need it on.

    Front loader flail mower

I supposed the flail would be hydraulically powered? If so, I suspect the hydraulic flow rate on our smaller units may be a consideration to running one? There is an on going thread about a lane shark which is sort of a brush hog mounted on the FEL. Right now the OP is trying to get it set up...

    Wont stay running

Sounds like a fuel restriction. I suppose you’ve check the fuel filter. I wonder if there’s something from the tank that didn’t come out in the line?

    Air Filter Warning on BX2230

Nice looking install. Looks factory (actually better than that). My Grand L has a restriction monitor, but it’s only visual when open the hood.

    TOO LOUD!

I wear hearing protection on both the L and the B. Tractors are loud. Hopefully your muffler isn’t going away after only a year.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I suppose you could. I’d already driven it a quarter mile back to the barn, mostly forward. I don’t think that would be all it’d take though. Or maybe an awful lot of it?

    L35 front axle needed!

I’d say no odd noises is a good thing. Why do you think you need to replace the whole axle? If it’s damaged and you have more time than money, it probably worth your while to at least figure out what it’d take to repair it. You can always revert to Plan B and replace the whole axle, which is...

    Gravel approach fix?

Sounds like the gravel may not have been compacted? If it’s 3/4” clean, that wouldn’t matter since it wouldn’t have compacted anyhow. Ideally compact the gravel in 6” thick lifts and use 3/4” - 0 (aka 3/4 minus).

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

How to bleed the fuel system? There is a 3/4 inch diameter gray “disk” on the right side, it’s just below the top of removable gray side panel, about 2/3 of the way from the front of the engine on my L3830. Turn it to the left a turn or three to vent the fuel system. Crank until it sounds like...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Today I mowed grass for a half day. Got the lower part of the place spiffed up alright. Used both the B and the L down there. Then I put my last 4 gallons of diesel in the L so I could brush hog the upper, sloped portion of the place. Well I was all but finished, having spent about 2 hours, and...

    Balancing Bush Hog

I replace my brush hog blades in pairs. I’d be surprised if the new ones weigh with in an ounce of one another. But, yes using two vastly different weights (one new, one well used) should do a nice job of helping the gear box go away sooner than it would otherwise.

LA535 Suppot Leg Breaking Latch Bolt

Interesting. I don’t know why that’s happening, but I know that just yesterday someone had a very similar post, picture and question, see the link below. More busted swift tach loader pins

Need a small multi purpose tractor

I suggest a B or LX as well. The L is too big for finish mowing. The Grand Ls can be had with a center PTO. I know the Bs come with one. I don’t know about the LXs, but I suspect they do. I’ve read that a BH on a BX is really just a toy. I think my B would be really “heavy” with a BH hanging off...

pin bent on loader need help figuring out why and how to fix

Well this is why I say the quick tach stuff on these little FEL looks like it belongs on a MTD lawn mower. It’s weak and flimsy. If it works right, it saves maybe 50% the effort and a couple minutes of installing/removing a loader. I had to laugh when I noticed the sheet metal levers for the FEL...

    Straightening ideas

Back on the farm, if it’d still hook up to the three point, we’d have just run it as is. I’m guessing it won’t mount up properly. Most any of the suggestions above will get it done. Your welder should be able to make quick work of it.

Wiring in lane shark on l3902…

So do you have an existing third function that Land Pride made? I recently installed a LP third function on my L3830. It is run by switching the positive wire. The body of it is pretty well grounded to the mounting bracket and rest of the tractor, there is no ground lead. As to whether the...

    B2601 owners

My B2601 is used primarily for mowing with the MMM. I do not mow with the FEL installed (so that I don’t hit the fences when mowing next to them and I can get closer to corners with the front of the tractor). Mine does a fine job mowing grass that’s with in the realm of a MMM’s intended usage...

    Today and Tomorrow's Work Force

About the same experience here. If I do find a young man willing to work, as soon as they can drive on their own, they are done doing physical labor. Interests become chasing girls and trying to make more money doing less to pay for an expensive car. About 2 seasons between them actually being...

looking for well pump advice. Updated!!!!!

Mirriam knows math. Can’t suck harder than atmospheric pressure can push (about 34 ft with no losses). With losses maybe 28 ft with great equipment or 22 ft with commonly available equipment).

    Impressive Fuel Economy

I keep track of fuel usage on all my vehicles and equipment (except push mowers and chainsaw power heads and the like). My L3830 uses right at 1.0 gallons per hour brush hogging with a 5’ rotary cutter. My B2601 uses just under 1 gallon per hour with a 54” MMM deck mowing at 2 inches. Those are...
