Even with a chain and 3lb hammer I have room to spare, got the biggest one that would fit.

FEL Bucket tilt Drifts down over 2hrs

This test if it failed/bucket dropped, would show there is an internal leak in the cylinder, if bucket held would show it to probably be the spool/valve?

FEL Bucket tilt Drifts down over 2hrs

Yes permanently, and if it's not the spool/valve, then that means both cylinders are internally leaking?

FEL Bucket tilt Drifts down over 2hrs

I am attempting to understand this curl hydraulic hose disconnect test and am shy to be pulling hoses off, still cleaning the hydraulic fluid off the cement from replacing the blown curl end hose one week ago. Engine running? Which hose? What is normal or not?

FEL Bucket tilt Drifts down over 2hrs

Thanks, so a new valve will probably be needed, sad that could happen at 400hrs. I will update if I get there.

FEL Bucket tilt Drifts down over 2hrs

What is the spool, where is it located? Would that allow both rams to leak down?

FEL Bucket tilt Drifts down over 2hrs

Thanks for your thoughts, my old JD backhoe would drift down, I was told it was in the control valve, which made sense because I rebuilt/sealed the ram with no change, not looking forward to opening up the control valve, will wait till I have to, I will just be quicker when I'm using the bucket...

FEL Bucket tilt Drifts down over 2hrs

No leaks. I believe either, running and not, don't usually sit there that long with it running. Not running on the Tractor, FEL lifted, bucket tilt level, bucket tilt very slowly tilts bucket down. Not good when you are working elevated in the bucket with supplies, painting, tree trimming...

FEL Bucket tilt Drifts down over 2hrs

My new to me 2016 L47 with 400hrs, the FEL Bucket Tilt Drifts down over 2hrs, I do not believe this to be acceptable/normal, any ideas how to correct it. Thanks.

    Grapple

The Titan Debis forks were 1/10 the cost compared to getting a 3rd valve and grapple for picking up whole trees for firewood. Did break the bucket ears and re-welded and minor bending with their 5000lb model, I am happy with how they work and the savings.

I forgot to release hydraulic pressure when disconnecting my BX23S backhoe. What do I do now?

I had the same issue, sun had heated it up also increasing the hydraulic pressure, at nite when it cooled down I was able to get it to bleed. If you have to, use wrenches like taking off the hose to relieve it. Good luck.

Grapple, Add-A-Grapple, or 4 way Bucket

Another consideration is Debri Forks from Titan, were less then a tenth of the cost of putting a 3rd valve and Grapple bucket onto my L47. Well worth the money. Here you can see me lifting trees for firewood.
