    MAD Racoons...

kids and guns... either way its the gun owners fault, but I grew up with guns in the house, and they weren't "hidden" from me, we were SHOWN how they work and how powerfull and DEADLY they are. Maybe kids HAVE changed...? but "parenting" should keep up..!!! We had lead paint, and few "warning...

    Exhaust Stack

I've got an L245DT. I've seen some tractors with the exhaust out the front, but with the FEL, I needed the verticle stack. I'm sure if you keep looking, you'll find something.

Glad to hear you have it running... I'm sure you will be happy with it. As for paint, to each his own, but i'm happy with faded paint and scratches, that just proves that she earns her keep. What ever you do, be safe and enjoy.

    MAD Racoons...

WOW... that is MESSED UP. They expect the man to PROVE the kids were in danger...??? they could kiss my @$$. Well, in a strange twist, LAST NIGHT... we had a 250+# WILD HOG, just 50 yards from my driveway... one thing for sure, they are NOT a protected animal, you dont need any tags or permits...

    Replace 1 front Tire

Just replace the one.... its a work horse, its not supposed to be "pretty". If it was mine, and and I replaced the second one for "looks", I'd get a sidewall ripped out first thing. just sayin

    L245dt rear axle seal question

I guess the outrigger style reduction gear boxes just throw me off. I "may have heard" that some model years of the L245 had a straight axle...? There are (or looks to be) fill and drain plugs on each side rear gear box so you can assure me, these both fill from the main reservoir. please...

    MAD Racoons...

I'm pretty sure they came back after I left... so, i'll have to deal with them again soon. Just hope i'm ON the tractor and not on foot. I'll give the pile a good pushing with the FEL and see if they're in there....

    MAD Racoons...

Yesterday I was on my 5th day of pulling down and brush pile I had made over a year ago with a big dozer. Burn bans wont let me burn it, so i'm pulling out the fireplace worthy chunks to cut up and stack (have about 6 cords piled now, gave away 3 last winter). Well, after climbing all over the...

    Exhaust Stack

replace your exhaust with a vertical stack. Weavers Compact Tractor had mine here (Texas) from PA in 3 days, the stack is 3+feet over the top of the tractor, its NICE. No smoke or fumes or even noise in my face.

    L245DT No 4wd

I know this is an old post, but in my search for info this is what I found and the same thing is happening with my L245DT. Everything else seems to be working fine. I have the m/1200 FEL and wanted the 4x4 for the heavy front axle for the loaded FEL. It came with a "razor" 4' brush hog, 4'...
