    A lot of opinionated people

It's pretty slick how the new tin shell ones are assembled. They assemble the roof first on the silo base, them raise it up with a set of synchronized specialized jacks. They then install the first ring of panels, raise the roof and first ring of the wall up and repeat, until the silo is up to...

    A lot of opinionated people

I watch a lot of farming u-tube channels. In the mid west EMPTY silos get blown in/over almost every year during tornados and hurricanes. They are the tin shell type, so when empty there is not much weight to them. The full ones do fine, as the contents keep them from buckling in.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

The Massy GC2300 was just a rebadged/painted Iseki tractor. The GC2400, which I have is more Massey, it still has the Iseki engine. The difference being, I believe Agco/Massy bought Iseki. Mine has been a good rig, but after close to 20 years only has 160 hrs.

T M G products. Does anyone have experience with them.

It looks like a few companies sell pretty much the same ones. Mine will only cut tall grass and twigs, so I think it would probably survive. Plus one afternoon a year would probably do all I need to do. Thanks

T M G products. Does anyone have experience with them.

I am looking at their ditch bank flail mowers. I know they are a cheaper brand and not up to woods or landpride quality. But am wondering if they are junk, or just a lighter duty machine. No heavy work, just heavy grass on road edges, and pruning my woods roads back in the 90" degree position...

    HST Not Returning to Neutral

On my L5030 that I had, I had a dry pivot bearing, and a weak shock, on the linkage under the cab.

Interesting. I was hoping it would state why there is a notch out of each letter.

    Happy Friday!

Those snatch blocks are the next best thing to the winch it's self. I purchased mine with the winch almost 30 years ago, and have never regretted getting it.

    Committed the ultimate sin.

I had issues bleeding my L6060. Talking to my dealers teck, he said the procedure in the manual is useless. He said to move the throttle to full and leave the filter loose then crank the engine in 10 - 15 second bursts with 1-2 minute cool downs until you get fuel coming out, tighten the...

Interested in purchasing a Kubota RTV-X 1140 UTV

For a strobe I just used some silicon to glue a piece of thin metal to the roof, so I can use my magnetic mount strobe lite. For the shocks I use a large pair of channel lock plyers. I keep my set to the highest notch, but I am in the woods, so clearance is my main concern. For you, you may be...

    Wallenstein FX110

In my area 20 plus years ago, Farmi was the only game in town, so that's what I bought. It's been good, no complaints.

    Wallenstein FX110

I found the chain hooks on the side of mine to be too low, so I made two more close to the top, but still mounted on the sides.

    Wallenstein FX110

Looks like a good unit. I have a Farmi that has been very good to me. I like the receiver. I also have a snatch block/pulley that I use to either double up the pulling force, or divert the cable off to a different angle. The 8N also perks my interest, very nice looking.

Is a quick hitch worth it when you have adjustable links

YES, without a moments hesitation, yes. I find life much easier with the quick hitch/hyd top and tilt comb.

    Chains for winter plowing- 6060

I run trygg's on all four, would not want any thing different. When it comes to 2 vs 4 chains, you need to remember that installing chains makes the circumference of the wheel bigger, so you need to do both axles, so the ratio's stay close. I have had no issues with binding running front and...
