Messicks has a u-tube video about the boss plow mounted on an 1100. It seemed like a nifty rig.

Looking at the diagram a bit more, it looks like the #90 bearing is mounted on the rear side of the flange on the shaft, which means the shaft could not move rearward even if it wanted to. So the seal has probably wiggled out.
I would still get a wsm.
Looks to be a nut holding it in place. I would get a pdf copy of the wsm to know the best way to repair. I got this off "parts finder canada" / kubota webb site.
I would think if the nut was backed off there would be fore/aft movement, so maybe the seal just moved out, but why ?
I have to agree with the other guys, unless you are pressed for space or money, I would keep the old one. The blade for sure as it will fit the new one.
You're better off buying a "logging dozer", a normal dozer with extra guarding and a higher mounted winch. I doubt there is a tractor on the market that will stand up to what you want to do.
Back in the day I used to love them. M and M meats has something similar now ( just the paddy). I can't see them being any worse than a wiener, and they do have more flavor.
Mcdonald's Canada had them for about a month back in Feb.
This just popped up on my facebook page, so I thought I would share it. This used to be a big thing when our kids were young, and I still like following along. Hopefully some kids are still interested.

I always clean mine of really well when done. I use a snow brush, and turn the shute a few times. I also clean the inside of the blower and the tractor also. It is a good way to find any damage, loose/worn parts, etc.
