L3901 Miss Firing / white exhaust

White exhaust frequently indicates moisture but should clear after a few minutes of run time. Water in fuel is a possibility as is a defective head gasket or cracked head. You really need to do some troubleshooting.

    lx 2610 loader arm controls

I don't know how your FEL control is mounted but I can't imagine the gyrations required on my tractor to have such a problem. Having said that, have you considered a magnet mount rear view mirror on one or both fenders to observe the blade without turning around? I know Amazon carries them.

    L2850 not Starting

What is your battery voltage after charging? What is the battery voltage when starter engagement is attempted? This will show whether a new battery is needed. Clean battery terminals and cable ends. Replace and tighten securely. Follow ground lead to frame. Clean and tighten.

    Ballast for L2850

I use a ballast box myself but any weight on the back will be an improvement. If you're into lifting really heavy stuff though you might try to find the weight capacity rating for the front axle. The addition of a front loader may have already put you near the limit. Kubota does rate pretty...

    Electrolysis for cast iron

If you use a single diode with 120 volt lint you will get pulsed DC in an approximate sine wave peaking at nearly 180 volts. Going to a full wave rectifier will mean closer pulses.

4400 Hydraulic Issues - New pump, or no?

Once in a great while a new filter will collapse. You can lose pressure there. A pump failure is pretty rare.

    Spring is almost upon us

In my area highway diesel hasn't hit five dollars yet and I think gasoline is hovering around four. This is southeastern Washington state.

    B9200 HST alternator help

There are still starter - alternator repair shops out there. If you have one locally it is probably your best bet. They can check the alternator if you bring it in and the voltage regulator as well. You might check to be certain your problem isn't just a loose alternator drive belt.

Newbie looking for a loader for L2500DT

If it's any help it appears the original loader was either an LA450S or an LB400. The specs are about the same for both. https://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/001/2/9/1293-kubota-l2500-attachments.html

1976 Kubota L225DT Main Ignition Switch

You should probably get some help from someone who knows electrical stuff. Any automotive ignition switch would probably work but you'd need to add a separate switch for the glow plugs. I suspect any generic tractor switch would work but you'd have to sort out which wire goes where. If you...

    L2850 water pump leak

It's called a weep hole and no bolt goes there. Consider it notification that you're approaching time to replace the water pump.

    2005 Kubota B2910

Check your owner's manual for recommended engine speed. Most power is usually produced at the PTO throttle setting. High gear is not normally used for actual work, it's more often used for getting from one place to another. I rarely use high gear.

    SVL75-2 hard start

Most newer vehicles have an on board computer of some sort. It is always drawing power, even when the key is turned off. Using a battery maintainer is a very good idea. There are also switches for disconnecting the battery when not in use. You might also consider having the battery load...

    Operator Presence Error

The last time I had seat switch trouble I was moving snow. Some got under the seat somehow and kept it from going all the way down. I cleared the snow under the seat and that did it. The only other time the rod under the seat on which it pivots up had come loose on one end allowing only...

B2601 and Betstco Flail mower .Shorten PTO shaft?

You need the mower and the tractor to take measurements. I feel the best way is with the mower actually on the three point, then you need only measure the required length and go from there. Note, the PTO shaft should end up about six inches shorter than your measurement to allow the mower to...

New to me BX23S w/ Backhoe

Get an owner's manual for the machine. Change all fluids and filters with the recommend Kubota parts. The fifty hour service guidelines should tell where and how. Check the torques on lug nuts, loader, and back hoe if installed. There's series on You Tube, DIY My Way or something like that...

    2007- 8540

Are other loader functions normal? Do you by chance have the three point lever all the way to the up position? If so, there's an adjustment for that.

    1991 L2550

I don't know what "a piston broke loose" means. If you spin a bearing the piston can slap the head. Obviously that should not happen at 700 hours. Rather than cause further damage it's time for a visit to the shop if it's not just water in the fuel.

Adding front end loader to L3000DT

$500 is an excellent price for that loader. I think I paid $4000 new for mine four years ago. It fits several L series tractors but I have no idea how one would adapt it to something else nor do I know how complete they one you're looking at may be. The hydraulic hookup will probably be the...
