Hi again. Just changed my water pump and thermostat thanks to advice given on here and did an oil change and fuel filter change as well. The tractor won't start know! I just get a click but the engine is not turning over at all. To be fair it has done this quite a few times in the past but with persistence it usually came to life, and I kind of thought charging the battery overnight had helped previously. Battery is fully charged and connections are checked and I've got the self bleed valve thingy open as I did a fuel filter change. i've got a feeling this is the same fault its had before and not due to anything i've just done! Does it sound like my stater motor is on the blink? Thanks for any help
Cheers
Paul

A click means you have ...... some current and voltage.

BUT - typically a "click" means that the pathway is problematic.

IF you jump small lead on starter to large lead.........what happens? MAKE sure drivetrain in Neutral.

Could be safety switch too - but most of the time the "click" is not a starter click when a switch is open/closed.

What is your battery voltage after charging? What is the battery voltage when starter engagement is attempted? This will show whether a new battery is needed. Clean battery terminals and cable ends. Replace and tighten securely. Follow ground lead to frame. Clean and tighten.
