    Kubota's Top Seller

I would think the L3400 is probably the best seller period.

What do you think of this boat???????

Skeets beat me to it! Nice money pit! I had a 25' Wellcraft with a Volvo drive, 350 Chev V8. And a 18' Stratos Bass Boat, 150 hp Merc. Best day of my life was when I got rid of them.:D When I first saw that it looked like a 29' Scarab I was looking at once, but it looks much bigger with the...

    Fram 3534

In the future, you could go to NAPA and get their Gold filter, it's a very high quality filter.

    Tire Ballast

They run them anywhere from 50% to 75% full. Mine are closer to 75%. They get pretty heavy with water in them, be careful if you have them off the tractor.

    Cleaning the tractor

I never pressure wash anything unless it's going to be torn down for a total rebuild, it blows dirt and grit in all the places it shouldn't be. For light oily places I spray some Simple Green on it and let it sit a bit, then hose it off, same with dirt stains. Simple Green won't harm paint and...

    Box scraper or Grading scraper

Allot of the TSC stuff isn't very heavy duty, it's mostly economy stuff. In the video above, they show a heavy duty unit, and you can even bend those if you get them in a bind with a bigger tractor.

    Another Crazy Thought?

You can move allot of dirt in a hurry with a box scrap and ripper teeth, just back up to where you want it, drop it and drag the dirt out. Once you get the dirt loose, you can move it real easy with the loader.

    Diesel Engine Oil

Haven't seen a price like that in a long time!

    hill climbing?

I've backed down and drove up steeper with my L3410 GST. I had one spot that was really grown up bad, had to back the bush hog over it as I backed down the hill, then drove up and backed down again, over an hours worth in one area.;)

    Husky chainsaw bars

I use Carlton chains on my Stihl, they actually cut better and last longer than the Stihl chains. This place has good prices on combos. http://www.baileysonline.com/itemdetail.asp?item=BCC+16+SS50&catID=11714 By the way, if you don't get the left and right handed cutting teeth the same, it will...

    Box scraper or Grading scraper

A box blade is allot more useful than a scraper, in fact it is probably the most useful attachment there is. I maintain several driveways with mine. I also use it to rip up ground and level it, push and drag brush, knock small trees over, rip roots out of the ground, pull dirt and gravel out of...

    l3000dt oil filter

Pretty much any name brand oil with the correct specification for the tractor will do just fine. Rotella is one of the best oils you can buy for the money, there is a very good reason so many people with diesels use it. It doesn't matter if it comes from Wally World or a truck stop, it's all the...

    Kubota common troubleshooting

The Glow Plug Controller seems to be a fairly common problem, at least on the L series. I was told it goes bad mostly from people letting the tractors sit out in the weather. My shaft seal that goes to the front wheel drive leaks a little, I just keep an eye on the fluid level. Other than...

    Battery warning light stays on

Is it an alternator or generator? If it's a generator it may need to be polarized. Have you checked the voltage, what is it?

    Tractor value help.

The people next to me bought a huge Allis Chamblers with a massive Bush Hog brand cutter with stump jumper for $5000, and it is all in great working order. They pulled me out of the creek twice with it this weekend.:D

    Tractor value help.

Sounds a bit pricey for the market right now, tractor prices are down. I've watched people try and sell tractors for a few years, they wouldn't budge on the price and they will likely never sell it. It may be 10 years before the market recovers, by then they will be worth even less. Lots of good...

    [RANT] String Trimmers

Speaking of Gators, I saw my resident gator a few times this weekend. Got my tractor stuck in the creek twice, glad he was on the other end of the property!

    [RANT] String Trimmers

I paid $185 for my Cub Cadet 2 line, you would think a $300 trimmer would work.

    [RANT] String Trimmers

I bought a Cub Cadet and it works great, it's a 4 cycle and it screams! The head works like it should. The thing about clogging up the carbs is the fuel, this new fuel will jell up the carb and the holes in them are so small it doesn't take much to clog them. Keep fresh fuel in them and fire...

    Getting the mail in style

LOL!!! A bright orange landmark for visitors.:D They make a heavy duty "RURAL" mail box for the bat people, I have two of them. Of course they aren't quite 3/16" inch thick, but surely enough to hurt their wrist on a drive by.:D I mounted mine on a 1 1/2" pressure treated board, attached to the...
