    Thanks

    MX condenser screen is worthless

Just pull all the little beige plastic caps off from around the edges of the headliner. There are bolts exposed underneath the caps. Take all those out, plus the ones on the back you mentioned. Then the plastic roof just lifts off.

    MX condenser screen is worthless

The roof comes off easily without removing the headliner.

    Upgrading MX lights to LED

Chim, how did you mount the cubes inside the loader tube?

    MX condenser screen is worthless

I haven't tinted my glass yet, I imagine you have done that? Another thing I noticed is that a lot of heat comes up from the floor area of the tractor. I'm thinking of removing the seat pedestal and floor mat, and coating the whole thing with a sound / heat insulator. Something like Dynamat but...

    Upgrading MX lights to LED

FYI- M4 and LX cab tractor have the same LED work lights. $233 each. Probably not worth it

    Upgrading MX lights to LED

Only the M4 and LX cab tractors get LEDs, until you get to the really large machines. The Grand L and MX unfortunately don’t. Perhaps they could be retrofitted but it would only be worth it if they were significantly bright.

    Upgrading MX lights to LED

Will do. I operate at night quite a bit, especially in the fall.

Rammed the loader valve on MX6000 cab and damaged it. Can I still use the tractor?

I took it apart last night. The valve itself appears to be undamaged. The thick (3/8") steel angle bar that the valve mounts on actually is bent forward, which snapped one of the two cables completely. The other cable is bent and damaged but still attached, and that is causing the loader...

    Flail mower sizing for L6060

Late reply, but I have extensive experience flail mowing. I ran a 78" flail behind my L4060 HSTC for the last couple of years. It worked fine but would big down in the thick grass or on hills. The tractor handled the weight very well. This year I am running the same mower behind my MX6000 and it...

Parking brake doesn’t hold on slope

I have found on a brand new tractor the brakes need some bedding in. But the key is just press the brake pedal down really hard and then set the parking brake latch.

Kubota M6060HFC, 2019, AC compressor sqealing...

For what its worth, my L4060 HSTC had 360 hours on it with no A/C problems and no belt adjustments. I would definitely start with replacing the belt. Those Kubota A/C compressors are extremely expensive for some reason. They are also very small.

    Hst and hydraulic filter mx6000

At $6/gal, with a burn rate of over 3 gallons per hour, you only need to run the tractor 4 hours at PTO speed to equal the price of the OEM HST filter. Adjust your hours slightly if your fuel cost is a little less than mine. It definitely won't take a month or more. Point is well taken. How...

    Rust on hydraulic lines

Unfortunately, I highly doubt warranty will cover rust, as they will blame the rust on the conditions you used your tractor in. The best defense is frequently washing the tractor anytime it comes into contact with salt. That's obviously hard to do in the winter. Some guys coat parts of their...

Grand L 60 cab tractor owners - need a quick favor

I'm still thinking of the magnets route. As it is right now, the flimsy floppy screen leaves quite a bit exposed on both sides anyway. At least the Grand L screen is rigid enough to remain tight up to the condenser.

Rammed the loader valve on MX6000 cab and damaged it. Can I still use the tractor?

Yesterday I was backing up a steep grass reservoir dam covered with thick, dense vegetation. At the very top, I suddenly felt the loader joystick move and slam into my leg. At first I was puzzled how the stick could move on its own, especially since the loader is not currently on the tractor...

Grand L 60 cab tractor owners - need a quick favor

I finally measured my MX condenser. It is the same height but seems to be more than an inch wider.

    Not a lot curling power

I've had a number of Kubota tractors with loaders, my L2501 with this same loader was a bit of a disappointment as well. So too was the LA805 on my L4060...not nearly as strong as the LA1065 on my previous MX4800 nor even the L4310 from years ago.

    MX condenser screen is worthless

I’d say my use is pretty typical. My old open station MX4800 would overheat too, eventually with enough buildup in the radiator.

    MX condenser screen is worthless

I went to the job site with my Honda generator, the small pancake compressor, and the blast nozzle. That method was successful in clearing the cores. The AC coldness was restored. However, like a bonehead I forgot a measuring tape to measure the condenser. Oh well, I’ll be back there again tomorrow.
