Good find in the Pennsylvania farmland ?

In my area these tractors don't come on the market that often and I've not seen any as well preserved as yours. There are newer models for quite a bit more money fairly often, but if you had missed this one, how long would you have waited for another? Sure it would have been great to get it for...

Tyres for B6100 or B7100 4x4 with grip

Hi Dylan, If you have a B7100hst with turf rims and want Ag or bar style tires I can vouch for the solution Dunk and Hodge found - Kenda k378 fronts in 20x8x10 paired with 29x12.5x15 rears. This keeps the sizes stock and the ratio is correct. I was worried about the fronts as the stock was 20.5...

Switching from "Ag" tires to "Turf"

My rear tires have 12 holes as well- it looks like 6 are for tapered lug nuts and the other 6 are for flat nuts, with lock washers perhaps? I have tapered lug nuts lice the automotive standard but I replaced my rear hubs to eliminate the wobble and the new hubs came with nuts and lock washers...

Average hours per year on your tractor

I agree that 96 hours over 40 years is amazing. I think it may have a 3 digit hour meter, so it could be 1,096 or... No matter, maintenance and storage conditions are huge factors in machine condition. That tractor has paint that shines and it looks to have been sheltered well. Mine has 1133...

Help with Kubota B6000 irregular tiling

Your soil and conditions are likely different than here in the high desert, but I have found the problem with tilling is that it works the top well but can actually compact the ground below. I don't know if sub soilers are available but that is a great help. I actually use a "Meadow Creature"...

    b7100 Tire question

Hi to a fellow B7100 owner. You really know how to pick a grandfather! Beautiful machine, much better paint than mine. Aside from the cuts and wear, tires that old are likely hardened and dry. I had to replace many rubber parts on my rig too and it is nice to have new tires. What I don't...

    2015 BX25D Backhoe with 3-Point Hitch

It really depends on where you decide to drop the backhoe. If it is out of the way a pallet or cinder blocks are fine. If you are storing it in a shop, garage, or shed and may want to move it then a simple dolly is handy. There are commercial dollies or home made versions. I followed several...

What size box scraper for my B260!1?

I think you are not much different than my B7100hst at ~1500 pounds and 48 inches wide - a 48 inch bb will do great for you.

    Post hole digger and B7100

Digging up an old post here. I have a mid 90's B7100hst and want to set some fence posts. TSC has them in stock along with different diameter augers. I'd like to set 4x4 posts, roughly 2' deep. I ask the forum for advice. Thank you in advance!:)

    B6100 injector and parts

OK - I'll try the screwdriver. I was adjusting the valves last weekend and wanted to remove the glow plugs to easily turn the engine over. I Wound up pulling the injectors instead. Pretty straightforward and it let me clean off the carbon as well.:)

B7100-Oil (not smoke) out of breather tube

If I am reading tractordata.com right then yours is a very early model - 1976 production. Do you agree NIWolfman or other members? If so the hour meter may be less important than a compression check. Can you obtain one?

B7100-Oil (not smoke) out of breather tube

How old is your tractor? Does it have 4 or 6 bolt front wheels? I am at 1100 hours and no oil out of the breather. Wiser folks than me will chime in but it is nice to get an idea of years as well as hours.

Recommend me a new grease gun

I have an old tractor with a backhoe that was neglected. An IPA joint cleaner and a lever operated Lincoln grease gun have cleared all the zerks. I had to replace a few zerks as well, but when the clog is in the joint the IPA is the ticket!

    B6100 injector and parts

On the topic of removing the glow plugs - mine have these slotted washers instead of nuts. Is there a special tool to remove them?

    B7100 hst 4wd

Nice setup! I am afraid we are getting off the tire topic. That is a great post for Wolfman's "let it snow!" thread. Beautiful tractor though.

    B7100 hst 4wd

Do you get heavy wet Lake Ontario snow? I see from your profile you have the big Kubota - M series. I imagine you have a big blower or blade to clear snow. Nice to know you appreciate the little models as well.

Where are those photos from Dave? We woke up to snow yesterday - about an inch! Lots of rain though so I'll be trying out the new treads in the mud. Photo shows the old and new tires.
