Well..... I was looking for a nice little tractor to buy and it had to pull numerous duties .... cut the lawn and be dead nuts tough. So, I narrowed my search to a Kubota B7100.
Again, it had to have a 60 inch mowing deck to cut the lawn ( 2.5 acres ) and had to be diesel and tough enough to pull downed trees and barrels from the long driveway and power some 3 point gear and be a 4x4.
I searched and found some rusty stuff. Some clean but worn stuff and then....... in the last week I found it !
A 1994 B7100 HST with 60 inch quick disconnect deck. 870 hours on it. This thing was like showroom new. Unbelievable really. I got the guy down to $4500 but had to pay taxes too.
So, is $4770 paying to much for a like new B7100

I'd say that the price is a tad high, but not too much. I paid $3000 for a 1990 B7100 HST with 640 hours and a Woods finish mower, in as good a shape as yours. I always felt that I lucked into a low price.
Regardless, I wouldn't worry about what you paid, for two reasons- obviously it is worth it to you, since you paid it. And, two, even if the price is high, you won't find something else that will do what your B7100 will do, for that money. They are extremely tough machines, versatile, and able to do much more work than they should for their size.
I notice that yours has the upgraded rear hubs, which is good. That's about the only thing that really needs to be done to the B7100. Keep your radiator and protective screen clear of debris, so that your radiator functions properly. With such low hours, your tractor is still a young teenager.

You'll probably want to replace the factory tires on it, if you plan to do much pulling. The front tires will give almost no additional traction.

Hellva nice machine!
With that many hours, rather FEW hours, it ought to last you a very long time.

As for that "quick disconnect deck" ....that might be an oxymoron!
IF/WHEN you take the deck off - do it ON a very flat floor, plywood, concrete...etc.
That ol' slide the deck aint gonna be fun on a gravel driveway! Dont ask how I know!;)

I'd say a little steep, but gosh that puppy is clean! As far as tough, seems like you could have done no better. Guys here love 'em!

There are large regional/area variations in pricing.

I don't think that would bring much over $3k here in rural (very rural) Upstate New Yorkistan, but also don't think your price is out of reality at all, especially given it's condition.

With that said, I'll sell you my BX2360 with 200 hours, snow blower, MMM, and FEL for the REDUCED PRICE OF $32,000, AND I'LL DELIVER IT!! :D:D:D Just kidding, and poking some fun at you.

In all seriousness, my suggestion is forget what you paid for it (you did fine), and enjoy it!

Welcome to OTT!

In my area these tractors don't come on the market that often and I've not seen any as well preserved as yours. There are newer models for quite a bit more money fairly often, but if you had missed this one, how long would you have waited for another?
Sure it would have been great to get it for less, but then you would still be looking and now you can be putting it to work!
The B7100hst is a classic machine, time I fire mine up it makes me smile.:D
