    the challenge....

Thanks. We plan on turning the barn into a shop but a proper concrete pad is not cheap so we are saving for it. I've been considering gravel in the meantime with the l3800 performing the ground prep. The white dog is a yellow lab.

    the challenge....

Its all for firewood. We heat both the main and guest home with wood. We probably go through about 10 cords per year for the property.

    Snow ?

Something to consider... Lending your tractor/car/etc... out and damage occurring (gas/power/water/structure/etc...) due to the use of the borrowed equipment may put you in harms way for liability. I wouldn't lend it out. Liability coverage for the tractor may be useful. I have liability...

    Trailer Size?

I would consider 20 ft. I have a 16 ft 7000 GVW tandem axle for my L3800/loader/backhoe. I cannot lower the backhoe boom to the trailer bed and I need to leave the the boom locked when I drive. It is recommended that you be able to lower the boom when you are traveling.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

L3800 and I attempted to use a 9 inch inch auger on north central idaho frozen ground... Took 30 minutes to get 2 inches. Not very effective. I suppose I'll be waiting until spring to build my 18x18' wood shed after all. I did get the building markers all laid out, though.

    Quick Attach 3 point Advice

speeco makes a nice one that you can generally buy for about $150. It seems to similar to the land pride at a savings. The LP is nice but costly however it should work for all of the QH LP implements. Titan mfg sells 3pt hitch ends which make your 3 pt a QH but you still have to get off the...

    b77 backhoe question

I have the l3800 w BH77 and I can operate the functions you mention simultaneously as we'll as the bucket. In regards to the dipper stick losing some pressure, mine does a little overnight and so does my friend's with the same set up. It would seem that you may consider trying another l3200...

400'x400' lot with 8" snow cleared with L3800 FEL

I use a six-foot rear blade for my L 3800. It works pretty darn well, granted I'm not clearing of 400 x 400' lot. We clear approximately 16x800 ft of gravel driveway and it works well for this. Service department Vic has a video on plowing snow using a rear blade. Several have suggested...
